EELS superstar Jarryd Hayne was on cloud nine after receiving a call from his sporting idol Roy Jones Jr who has been helping Danny Green prepare for his latest bout.

Parramatta spies told The Daily Telegraph that Hayne was almost floored when he picked up the phone to find Jones Jr on the line from America.
Hayne's good mate Green, who works out with Parramatta trainer Hayden Knowles, is training with Jones Jr in the United States (pictured) and had the boxing legend call Hayne knowing the fullback's respect for the former champion.
Jones Jr has signed a pair of gloves for the Eels, which Green will personally deliver when he returns to Australia after his bout with Julio Cesar

I tell you what - I was never a fan of Danny Green, inside or outside of the ring. But he's grown on me.

Yes Mundine is a tosser and continues to show his lack of intelligence (a shame) with the stuff that comes out of his mouth, but he's a better boxer/fighter than Green, and Green is also a tosser.

Jarryd Hayne is a great rugby league player.

Roy Jones Jr is arguably the greatest fighter of all time. He has won heavyweight, Lightweight and super middleweight crowns. Ali was great but Jones JR at 40 would take about 90 seconds to knock The Myth Mundine into orbit. He would knock Mundine out in the first round and The Myth knows it.

Roy Jones Jnr was a freak in hs prime, easily ther best fighter of his generation. Embarrasing that Mundine and Greens names are mentioned in the same sentence.
