i think he has already signed with AFL. i'd say he did some time ago

the AFL just want to announce it at a time they can get more positive publicity

for 1.5 million a year I would go as well. Seriously, who could blame him??

and be forced by the AFL to go around telling kids to not play the game that gave him everything and instead play some sh*thouse Victorian game?

i couldn't live with myself

that is all they want him for

Well it's been an interesting intro with you guys, but no I haven't been scared off just been too busy to reply until now.

Maybe I should re phrase what I was trying to ask.

I am asking a serious question to you guys who seem to have the inside knowledge on what is going on with the 2010 Premiers (EELS!).

So fun aside, Money speaks and there is no guarantee Jarryd will sign with the EEls, so we will have to win without him.

So lets get use to it!

it's not even about that, it is about gettting what your "worth"

Really?

He hasn't played a game of competitive AFL in his life, and he's worth more than the best AFL players?
You're having a lend.

A long time to go before his contract is due to expire, why would he rush signing?

I don't think he is worth that to the AFL, but I think the fact that he is being offered it would make him think he is worth that much and make him think that amount is therefore what he deserves and is "worth"

Really?

Money is the root of ALL happiness?

No, but I would not begrdge anyone from signing a contract that can set them and their family up for life.

That being said, I'm really not bothered by talk he might sign for AFL. What happens happens. I'm comfortable enough with whats been said that he'll stay at Parramatta.

i think ossie should get him in the office and ask him what is going on.

get him to sign the contract and if he does not want to sign, pull the deal and let him sign wherever he likes be it AFL, NFL, Rugby Union, Soccer, Cricket, whatever.

Enough of this crap, i'm sick of hearing about it.

either he signs or he doesn't, lets move on.

Geez I think some people need to take valium during the off season, anxiety and paranoia are starting to set in. Only 3 months to go and we'll see Jarryd running around in the Blue and Gold.

well at least he could say he was going to sign with Parramatta instead of not ruling out being a dog and signing with boggerball

he said he'd sign when he returned but he now won't even commit to League

Come on Guys...Who here(with the exception of a few of us reds) wouldn't consider an attractive offer like this one.It is not only money but the opportunity to challenge yourself in something new.

It's not like he is considering playing with Satan:roll:

It's not like he is considering playing with Satan

it is

they only want him to draw fans away from League to AFL and also to use him to tell kids to play AFL instead of League

so he would be putting down the game that gave him everything
