Maybe. Who knows?

I'll tell you one thing though.
If Hayne signs with GWS, it's not going to coerce ME to watch AFL, that's for f**king sure.
I'm loving the fact they are prepared to throw $200 million at a venture that is doomed to fail.

Suity

Doomed to fail? I'm not so sure.

The combination of a lot of AFL fans in Sydney's west along with the fickle nature of league fans tends to make me think they might be onto something.

And as much as we'd all hate to see it as Parra fans, signing someone like Jarryd would be a huge boost for GWS. It would rock the league world ten fold over the K.Hunt/Gold Coast move.

Calm down. If he goes, he goes. If he stays, he'll be under immense pressure to emulate his late 2009 heroics. Lose-lose imo.

:sarcasm:
:p
:lol::lol:

I think we could live without him, and if he stays bonus, he's a great player, who wouldn't want him:p

Whatever Jarryd. Just do what you need to do and do it quick. Please don't let this hang around all summer.

are you geeing up???

I've just seen the interview and the kid just walked through customs ffs!!!..you must of missed the bit when the news reader said despite agreeing to terms BEYOND next year...

I thought you'd be smart enough to realise that the interview was heavily edited to get a decent story out of it..

when i saw him on FSN there was no mention of that

I went outside a little while ago and felt something touch me on the top of my head... i thought "bugger me, the sky is falling!' Then i realised no, it's only a little sprinkle.

In all serious though El Diablo, you need to just relax mate. Jarryd said before the 4 nations final that he will be signing with Parra.

Perhaps we ought to take him on his word.

Tahu said he wouldn't be going to Union. he then signed with them

IIRC he said he wouldn't return to League. he then signed with us

Will it be rocked like the league world was rocked when Sailor, Tuqiri, Rogers, Sonny Bill, Gasnier, Blacklock and Tahu, among others, swapped codes and headed to Union?

The only thing AFL are going to acheive is taking crowds away from the Swans, who have struggled to get decent crowds at ANZ since their decision to take big games out to Homebush.

The AFL are so confident that it will work they are getting the State Givernment to fund the majority of the work for the upgrade at the Showground and Blacktown Council are forking out the dosh for the "super stadium" out there way. They have this supposed warchest yet they won't open it.....

If Hayne leaves, so be it. We'll wake up tomorrow like we always have..... and he will be wanting back into the game within two years.

So you are taking what Hayne says with a grain of salt because Tahu tells fibs? It's like saying all teenage blokes speed because some do. All chicks will cheat because one cheated.

exactly

it makes as much sense as the Eels signing Fev , its all a publicity stunt

cutie wont even play in the AFL, I dont think he will ever get out of second division, assuming he can make it to second division

you just cannot switch codes and go straight to AFL level, its impossible imo

one more thing, how long can the AFL afford to pay cutie over a million a year to play for Southport

at some stage they are just throwing money away, they are getting plenty of publicity from cutie and Jarryd atm, but they will become a laughing stock if they continue to pay cutie all that money to play for Southport, same would apply to Hayne

I just dont believe a word of it tbh
