You dick head.
He was our most threatening player last year, and err every other year he has ever played for us. He basically won a handful of games on his own.
Yet for some reason clubs weren’t bending over backwards to sign him. Hmmm that sounds like he might be near the bottom of the scrap heap to me. Who’s the dickhead now dickhead?

The eels have given plenty of players a second chance in recent years. Why not the plane?

Whatever the truth of the matter, thanks to the media doing what they do best and creating hysteria within the public merely just with an accusation, the Hayne ordeal is definitely a distraction.

Gone from sign him at any cost camp to sign him if this blows over. He hasn't exactly shown loyalty lately so unfortunately neither should the Eels. He will end up somewhere eventually and will be fine.

Let me begin by saying, I am drunk right now.
I don't know Phil Rothfield and I have never meet him, but he looks like a beetroot and that means he is a piece of shit.
But I am a big talking head. Blah, blah, blah, blah.

I’ll start by saying my emotional thoughts are with the young lady and her family more than anything else. You always think in these cases: What if it was your own daughter?

He ran this by the womens advisory team at News limited before pressing send.
This is the did this get me off the "victim blamer" list before I say what I really believe.

Well I agree with you. Hayne never won a game nor was man of match this season. In the top 5 playera quite a few times. Nothing that stellar about his performances. Did a few things that plenty of other guys do.

That is true, but I don’t think many of those in the second chance saloon we demanding $1.4m for 2 years....
He had a 1 season contract, he could have been negotiating since last november .... he decided to try and earn big bucks instead of settling for securing something decent for a few years - its backfired .... he claims things will just work themselves out - they arent

To be fair, Jarryd only played 15 games (including a few he went off early in the game) but managed to lead our tally for tries, line breaks and tackle busts, as well as polling 3rd in the eels’ Dally M tally with 8 points. What’s more telling is most of these stats were achieved in the back half of the season when he really started to hit form.

His form end of season when playing for contract was great.
His form prior was rubbish . That is the problem, which Hayne would we get?

I'm not worried about his on field form, it's what it always has been, really nice rocks and diamonds, He's very rarely terrible, but that isn't the point. That's not what is devaluing him.

It's his off-field value. The intangible stuff that you can't track with stats and figures. There's no denying that he has a negative effect on the team, we saw that this year, now I'm not saying it was all him, there were many factors at play, but it could be rightfully assumed he played some part in it.

Then when you add the non stop media circus that follows him, and the clubs need to steer clear of any negative press for a good long while and his value begins to plummet.

If he has any brains at all, if he is cleared of this allegation, he will book it to the ESL.
