sounds like the bottom feeder wants his share of the TPAs too, but I guess in effect its just Moses confirming (via the media) what a joke the TPAs have become

We see these kinda reports all the time, either the media have no idea how TPA's work, or they have a fairly good idea idea of how they really work, and aren't to bothered about how they are supposed to work.

The big problem with trying to understand TPA's is one year you think you understand them, the next year you don't care, and by the time you are thinking about them again you have forgotten everything you learned 18 months ago.

I have looked at our squad for 2019 and Hayne is best off getting what ever he can from French Rugby. It is a very weak looking squad and best we can hope for is to start building for the 2020's.

Agreed. It is a pathetic squad. Last again, I'm afraid. Actually, we'll probably have a real dig and come 14th.

I reckon we'll come 7th or 8th. I hope we keep Wonderboy, but who knows what will happen if and when his civil case is resolved.?
I reckon if Hayne is our fullback we’re a chance of playing finals footy. With French as our fullback for the majority of the season I think we’re zero chance. In fact I think we’re a strong possibility of a bottom 4 finish.

If Hayne isn't our fullback, we probably have some $$ left over for a late off-season reno for the team.

I'd rather Hayne stay, but even if he does, who knows what happens after his civil case is resolved?

Possibly...but at that late stage in the game, I fear we might go into season 2019 with our current squad and either gamble on a midseason signing (which may or may not eventuate and the season could already be over), or worse, give up on this season and simply upgrade/extend some current players.

If he leaves us, it will be fairly soon I'd think.

If we re-sign him and he plays, like 6 games next year due to a combination of injury and off-field stuff, every know-it-all (I'm not including you in that description) will scream blue murder. It's a tight call and I'm sort of happy that we are playing it out to the end.

Isn’t his court case scheduled for 2020?

There’s always the risk of injury for every player and I accept that Jarryd is probably a little more prone than other quality players, but as Noise indicated the court case isn’t until 2020. As a team coming off the wooden spoon I can’t see too many quality players lining up to jump onboard at this stage in the game to use the cap space we had earmarked for Jarryd.

He’s had many seasons here as a fullback, how’d they pan out? The sooner we forget about this drama queen the better, despite all the talent he posses.
