Slater is a better fullback but he and Hayne are on par as footballers.

Hayne has a major weakness (work rate) that makes him unsuitable for fullback. Slater is perfect for fullback but unsuited anywhere else. He is too small for wing or centre and lacks the skills (especially kicking) for the halves.

Slater also has better leadership from what I can see.

That is how id roll with hope that Kafusi, Evans, Niakuore have huge offseasons and displace Taka and Mannah based on becoming more explosive players.
Confident Tepai and Lane can go from 6/10 guys to 8/10.
With Terepo and Alvaro we know what we get. Same goes for Brown.
And as much as Mahoney seems the future I would still open rnd 1 with Kaysa being his last chance for now. I like his energy and pittbull like aggressiveness.

I like this but I’d swap taka for Mahoney, play kaysa 1st 20 then bring on Mahoney and use kaysa as middle or 9 later in the game

No offence Gary but your question is stupid. We paid top dollar for a half that isn’t top quality. Maybe we should of hardballed Corey into signing for 5-600k (take it or leave it situation). Not paying massive overs especially considering his attitude and antics.

You must realize that when we signed him on his current deal we were in a massive 2016 shitstorm, Norman was in the top 3 halves on form and every parra fan was praying for his signature..and he was in high demand from other clubs
