Even if that story is word for word true
And I’ll wager my f**king house it’s a complete fabrication… a bit like the racist claiming he has friends who are black… the idea that a single isolated incident would colour your entire view to the point where you not only don’t believe any woman on face value but you dispute the validity of their claims in when it’s been proven in a court of law twice… it’s truly remarkable

the level of immaturity… like genuine immaturity, where by you still act like a f**king child about it… it’s staggering

100% fabricated

You're posting on a rugby league forum where probably just about everyone felt this way about Hayne as a player, especially NSW fans. The problem is you are unable to look past his on field achievements and accept he might not be the great bloke you think he is.
I would agree with some caveats- he was an amazing individual player, but selfish from a team perspective.

While he won the series for NSW in 2014, he equally cost the Blues the 2017 series, selfishly choosing to go himself when Morris was unmarked on his right and could've easily scored to break Qld mentally in Game 2. Felt similar to when Mundine tried going himself in the 99 GF.

If I got a message like that and she invited me to her place, what does that mean? It means sex end of story. I wasn't born yesterday. I Hope women don't lead us on like that,it's unfair for men..

Oh no, it's so unfair to men that we think we are getting sex, and then we don't get sex. That is so much worse than getting raped and having to live the rest of your life with the psychological pain from suffering that, and the abuse and threats you get for reporting to police that you were raped by a football player. We should all feel so sorry for men who get turned down for sex, and not those dirty women who are probably just lying anyway.

T

Was there a dally m when Lewis played? Even so if Hayne won 2 and Lewis and Lockyer won none really say a lot about the award

the dally M or equivalent was given out to the best player in the NRL/ARL/NSWRL.

Wally was dogshit when he played in the NSWRL

You are painting yourself into a corner with your layman interpretation of the law- A Bush Lawyer view at most

So everyone you have ever had intimate activities with you have always sought their consent (even your partners ) and never once maybe took some advantage of the other person being a bit tipsy/flirtatious when they may not have wanted to go that far.

If you haven't obtained consent at all times then you are no better than Jarryd Hayne is then in your mind are you as only they would know if they had consented.

The landscape has certainly changed in the litigation world we now live in.

She said He said is very appropriate as there were no witnesses and that Taxi and beeping of the horn was a major factor in this case if you actually read the case notes.

Also ask yourself why would someone delete 22 text messages before going to the Police- If Hayne had done this you would be crucifying him for it.

Social media and other 24/7 media outlets have also changed the legal landscape in relation to hearsay

You would never be able to say that none of the jurors across the three trials had no knowledge of the case and never viewed news reports and especially social media sites where folk with supposedly first knowledge "knew" what had occurred or heard it from someone else with this supposedly first hand knowledge.

You would be hard pressed convincing anyone that jurors are not influenced by what they see/hear and read about in trials they have been empanelled on as a Juror in the 24/7 news/social media cycle we live under.
Another dumb post... not surprised.... Hint - look up what consent is... maybe you slowly will get there but at this rate you keep on going the wrong direction.

And what about if the woman stunk like really bad alcohol and really wanted to play some shitty music that you hated and started shoving fingers into you to the point where you are bleeding. Based on your message it seems like you would be fine with it.

Tiny Brain

A person has to say or do something to communicate consent - you can’t assume someone is consenting because they don’t say no.

You always need to check consent, whether it’s the first time you’re hooking up with someone or the hundredth time.

If someone consents to one thing (like kissing), it doesn’t mean they’ve consented to other things (like touching).

Someone can change their mind and withdraw consent at any time. As soon as a person withdraws consent, the sexual activity must stop.

50% of people on social media support Hayne 50% dont. I absolutely hate the fact that RL players get screwed over and over by people because they're famous!

But if the women meets you and no longer wants it she can withdraw consent which seems to have happened in Haynes case.
seems to have happened - mmm no witnesses and her word against his - she deleted 22 text message which included the one posted above before going to the police.

Thought there was some chance of a long term future - the taxi ended that plan - If no Taxi there would be no case for Hayne to answer simple as that

Jesus Christ dude.

Women, people even (of which women are a subset believe it or not) can withdraw consent at any time. In your defence, you're not the only one struggling with this, just the most obvious.
no witnesses to this only her word against his - again why would someone delete 22 text messages before going to the police? - Waiting for someone to answer that

Its a joke he can get found guilty 2/3 times, the one he didn't was where 10/12 thought he was guilty whilst only 2 didn't yet can still appeal.. just do your time Hayne.

Fun fact he'd have less then 2 years left in jail if he just took the punishment on the chin and done his time.
So if you knew you were not guilty you would still serve the time.

mmm so when you released and apply for a job and land it and they do a criminal check - you tell the employer that you actually didn't do it but to save the hassle you just served the time.

Why did she delete 22 text messages before she went to the cops? VERY SUS.....Explain THAT. I'll be waiting for your reply
Here's my reply.

Any person is allowed to withdraw consent AT ANY TIME. No matter how keen she seemed to have been before hand, if she sees a taxi literally waiting in the driveway and feels uncomfortable/dirty/used etc, no matter what went down before, she can say no. And he still pushes ahead, it's rape.

As for the messages, I don't know much about that. All I know is consent.
I have no Parra jersey or a NFL one. But over the years when he was in his prime I began liking the bloke for his skills,he was a amazing player on the field..
OK cool, and that seems to be clouding your judgement that he's a piece of shit human.

The 22 messages she deleted were from earlier in the night before Hayne arrived.

Why were they deleted?

Because she thought she'd look stupid and it'd f**k her case against Hayne.
