I'd have him in my top 53.
And that is why there are GM's being paid millions of dollars a year to do what you do, and people like you sitting at home picking their arse ;-)
I'd have him in my top 53.
well that is what i said, he will need to be on the depth chart to have a chance of being signed.
No, he will need to show something as RB's are a dime a dozen, you can find good quality rb's on any practice squad these days and plug them, so Hayne will need to show potential.
And in relation to the other positions, let him just try one position and make the squad first and see how he goes before we label him the next Deion Sanders:lol:. Like 1000's of college kids with the same and better physical attributes they have the make up to play those positions, but being good at it is another question.
Any chance he'll outpunt their current punter? We know he can kick the ball along way, is there anything special about being a punter?

If there were thousands of college kids with even the same physical attributes, Hayne wouldn't even have made it this far.
My point was while kick returner doesn't necessarily appear on depth chart, doesn't mean in real world practice it isn't there. And that the 3rd string RB isn't necessarily the 3rd best because your 4th best RB may be one of your best returners so he leapfrogs.
While I don't think he is Neon class, I do think Hayne's versatility will get him minimum practice squad and we'll have to wait and see if he can combine that with firstly good RB skills and kick returning to make roster
Hayne was already a professional sportsman and applied himself and excelled in his chosen sport, these kids you dont know as they are fresh from college and havent been paid a cent yet
Haven't they played college football which in the grand scheme of things is a better grounding than being an elite sportsman in the NRL?
Hey RJ. Would you rather Parra jag a comp or the Bills win the Super Bowl ?
