well that is what i said, he will need to be on the depth chart to have a chance of being signed.

No, he will need to show something as RB's are a dime a dozen, you can find good quality rb's on any practice squad these days and plug them, so Hayne will need to show potential.

And in relation to the other positions, let him just try one position and make the squad first and see how he goes before we label him the next Deion Sanders:lol:. Like 1000's of college kids with the same and better physical attributes they have the make up to play those positions, but being good at it is another question.

My point was while kick returner doesn't necessarily appear on depth chart, doesn't mean in real world practice it isn't there. And that the 3rd string RB isn't necessarily the 3rd best because your 4th best RB may be one of your best returners so he leapfrogs.

While I don't think he is Neon class, I do think Hayne's versatility will get him minimum practice squad and we'll have to wait and see if he can combine that with firstly good RB skills and kick returning to make roster

Any chance he'll outpunt their current punter? We know he can kick the ball along way, is there anything special about being a punter?

Niners have one of the best punters in Andy Lee.
Doubt they will be getting rid of him for Hayne. If he practices at it enough he could maybe make a good fist of the position.
What you want in a punter is someone who can drive the ball downfield as close to the opposition goal line as possible without it actually going past the line, while giving it enough air so that your defenders have enough time to get down and stop the returner from running.
Not too dissimilar to League, but you rarely see the ball hit the ground.

If there were thousands of college kids with even the same physical attributes, Hayne wouldn't even have made it this far.

Hayne was already a professional sportsman and applied himself and excelled in his chosen sport, these kids you dont know as they are fresh from college and havent been paid a cent yet

sorry, but what versatility has he shown just yet? not having a go but he hasn't even taken a snap yet with pads on against comp.

Wait till comp starts, then we can make a judgement. Not a year goes past when some freak gets signed to a squad from all over the world, and 99% of the time is one of the first cut from train on squad

Haven't they played college football which in the grand scheme of things is a better grounding than being an elite sportsman in the NRL?

not really, they arent professional, yeah they get attention, but plenty of alter boys in college have turned to crime and shit once they hit the NFL, the list is endless

Hey RJ. Would you rather Parra jag a comp or the Bills win the Super Bowl ?

Hate to say it Avenger, but now Buffalo. I just dont like league as much as i use too, plus i find it hard to identify with the players we currently have. Mayeb loosing has turned me to that i dont know, and wont know until we become good again.

You never even been to Buffalo you f**ken turkey. f**ken deadshit merkin.

f**k off dickhead, you have probably never been to half the effing soccer cities you spoof all over in the soccer thread about. Also f**k tard I have never been to Chelsea yet go for them, Chicago cause i support the Bulls either.

I support the bills cause because genius I do, I don't have to be from there to identify with them, I just simply do. And further more, I was born and raised in Bankstown not Parramatta and have no affiliation to Parramatta at all.

Because my favorite team is Buffalo, and it is not where i am from:roll: unf**king believable considering i highly doubt he has been to the cities his fav soccer sides are from.

Anyway who cares, the guy claims he is married and has kids, yet spends every single moment on here. He is full of shit. He is just your average bunniesman - a guy without a life.
