Nice

If he keeps this up, they'll poach the crap out of the NRL :(

Why though? There are plenty of athletes over there. We may find a couple more players trying their hand and them making the effort but i'm not sure the NFL teams will care too much or go out of their way.

Such a big learning curve and if you are only going for the money, you probably won't make it. You would have to really love and want to play the game imo to have any chance.

Nah they won't. Hayne was easily the best athlete over here. No other player in the NRL would do as well as Hayne has done and will do. Possibly the only other player that could have a position over there would be RTS as an RB. Maybe Pat Richards with punting.

Jarryd would have scored a TD on that 53 yard run if he just kept looking straight and put the head down, for some reason he turned his head around and wanted to throw a Mike Tyson jab at the defender,no need for him to do that, would have scored.

Actually watching the replay he wouldn't have scored even if he kept his head straight, the defenders had him for speed,my bad, good run though.

The greatest ever Eel. Period. The greatest ever athlete that the NRL has been ever produced. Never thought he would get this far. Happy to be proven wrong. What a player.

Former Australian professional rugby player Jarryd Hayne, who was playing in his first NFL game, had a 53-yard run early in the second quarter. Hayne, who was signed as an undrafted free agent in March, burst through the line before juking a defender and dashing to the 13.

"He can play in space," San Francisco coach Jim Tomsula said. "He's a premier athlete in the world in space."

Hayne had five carries for 63 yards and also returned a kickoff 33 yards and two punts for 24 yards.
