Did anyone see this interview? Did he actually say anything worth mentioning
6th fastest among running backs at the combine. wish he'd taken part. i am very interested to see how his agility tests would have rated. You might think it's shit, (and we don't know if the time is fact or fiction) but supposedly it would have been the 6th faster time at the combine. Must be a dud year of recruits coming through.
give it a bit of a chance so that you can get your head around the rules. the ncaa comp is great to watch too (i prefer it to nfl to tell you the truth).I'm going to try and get into NFL this year. See what all the fuss is about. I've picked the 49ers as my team.

What?
You're too good for Detroit?
f**k you.

Excellent choice. They are my team. I picked them in primary school because Joe Montana was the man back then.
You may not put any stock into the original source, but it is a reputable publication, which is more substantial evidence and has more credibility than someone just saying a number with no evidence to back it up.
The original discussion came about because Pou Bear claimed that Parra was going to be paying The Plane $1.5+ million per year and costing around $1million under the salary cap this year. I called absolute garbage and provided information to justify my claim. Pou Bear has provided nothing since to substantiate his claim that his figures are anything but in his fantasy world.
I'd agree with you on the number of third party deals that the top NRL players "should have", but there is still no other credible evidence available that any NRL player had an income equal to $1.28 million in 2014. So if the top NRL players did have those multiple third party deals that you refer to, then that just reinforces my claim of the amount that the top players are costing clubs under the Cap.

My opinion is based on hearsay, including a statement on one of the footy shows that Hayne, Marshall and Thurston were all on a million plus per year back in 2013. Poaching by other codes has guaranteed that the highest profile NRL players are remunerated to keep them in rugby league, and based on your 'reputable publication' $1.28 million (or $1.279999 million if you prefer) is more than conceivable for Hayne.
Therefore a million a year is at the upper end of his cost under the cap (and I'm including guaranteed third party and long service discount) but you have no proof that $800k is any more realistic or even more likely. What is fantasy though is the idea that Hayne would be on only $600k under the cap. Where's your proof of that?

Steve Young for me.
It worked out in the long run considering my brother now lives about 2 hours from SF.
