And that was the major issue I was worried about....we may have to pay this bloke 2 to 300k a year to run around with another club next season....

f**king fabulous

No it's not our fault

Just the control freak who thinks he runs the organisation who runs the game

It's not our failings, it's a conspiracy against us

Hopoate was a mistake which was compounded by the self promoting fools wanting to win an election

They offered him the world when he clearly wasn't up to it

These are he people running our club, despite them wanting to blame one individual.

This is why we are also-rans year in year out

It's not a conspiracy

We are run by clowns.

We have to face up to it.

I honestly don't know for sure - but I think most people have this all wrong

the NRL sys you cannot play in the NRL competition unless they register your contract - but signing a big $s contract of employment is probably an entirely different thing

Yeah it's easier to blame the NRL and Smith than the clueless muppets that run our club.

How in f**ks name could this be anyone's fault other than our own?

It's pretty simple. If a player is offered a contract by a person authorised to contract for the club, and the player accepts that deal in good faith, then he has every right to expect the club to do everything in its powers to get that contract registered. Not to try reduce the amount offered.

Even if it's $800k?

Don't agree. If your CEO has gone rogue then you take steps to fix it in the club's favour. You explore all avenues to avoid the worst outcome.

Who offered him the 800k? The NRL? Casper? Bigfella?

No. It was the club's duly appointed representative.
Agreed, it's not the NRL's fault, or Hoppa and his managements fault. It's the idiot who offered that sort of money and the idiots who hired the bloke and let him do as he pleased.

 What a suprise, did the NRL hire the muppet CEO and then let him do as he pleased???

Surely with such an inexperienced CEO you would have steps in place just incase things got to much for him??? Not at our club, it's everyones fault but ours.
