would you rather watch the footy ?
That's just click bait.
Everything is click bait.
would you rather watch the footy ?
sounds like even though the contract was never registered the NRL think it stands
yet the same mob allow playyers to backflip
And that was the major issue I was worried about....we may have to pay this bloke 2 to 300k a year to run around with another club next season....
f**king fabulous
good point
so who's right ?
That's just click bait.
Everything is click bait.
ridiculous
the NRL say it's not a contract until it's registered unless it's Parra
the control freak has to go

If history has taught us anything, then not you.
Yeah it's easier to blame the NRL and Smith than the clueless muppets that run our club.No it's not our fault
Just the control freak who thinks he runs the organisation who runs the game
It's not our failings, it's a conspiracy against us
Hopoate was a mistake which was compounded by the self promoting fools wanting to win an election
They offered him the world when he clearly wasn't up to it
These are he people running our club, despite them wanting to blame one individual.
This is why we are also-rans year in year out
It's not a conspiracy
We are run by clowns.
We have to face up to it.
How in f**ks name could this be anyone's fault other than our own?
It's pretty simple. If a player is offered a contract by a person authorised to contract for the club, and the player accepts that deal in good faith, then he has every right to expect the club to do everything in its powers to get that contract registered. Not to try reduce the amount offered.
Even if it's $800k?

Agreed, it's not the NRL's fault, or Hoppa and his managements fault. It's the idiot who offered that sort of money and the idiots who hired the bloke and let him do as he pleased.Who offered him the 800k? The NRL? Casper? Bigfella?
No. It was the club's duly appointed representative.
 What a suprise, did the NRL hire the muppet CEO and then let him do as he pleased???Don't agree. If your CEO has gone rogue then you take steps to fix it in the club's favour. You explore all avenues to avoid the worst outcome.
