The "Pad" comment was a bit dumb. Although, if he had it used it on Locke as in padlock he could have strung together that the right hand side was .. well, pads. But, Fittler doesn't think that quick I don't think.

There was a Lock(e) joke in there as well, but can't remember it clearly, something about someone being the key, was around the time they where talking about Tuqiri's dread Locks. Freddy again wondering if Tuqiri's could get poked in the eye by his dreads??

I actually like Wazza, Brandy and Loz on Monday nights. The best though is Sterlo. Gould is hot and cold -he can labour on about certain points.

Costigan is worse than AIDS. I swear he gets worse every week. He seems to be becoming more bitchy and opinionated every week, and invariably his opinions are not so much opinions as an incoherent stream of random words.

How about when he blew up about how Brown put the ball dead, not even mentioning the fact that Morris clearly knocked the ball forward into him? Or when he blew up about Brown being called for a knock on after Creagh's pass was knocked down by Packer? How could either of those calls possibly gone the other way? Yep, he is getting on my nerves more with each game, today was another example of wondering whether he actually enjoys warriors games. To be fair when it's a drubbing we don't enjoy them much either-but he's commentating for kiwis, most of his audience won't want the back history of every frickken opposition guy ad neauseum, nor do they want to hear how bad the warriors are and how great the opposition are. If nothing else he's not that smart in regard to job preservation on NZTV!

Agreed.

It's weird because other teams' fans always say our commentators are biased, but to me Costo and Halligan always seem to take the other team's side. Costo in particular always seems really sarcastic towards the Warriors and loves to have a dig.
