luckily it was a fractured fibula and not tibia as they take 6-12 months for a full recovery.

as the fibula is the smaller of the 2 bones recovery can be 9-12 weeks.although he isn't expected to be back until round 14 or so.
the reason why it is expected that it will take longer than 9-12 weeks is that the major complication of a fibula fracture is disruption of the normal anatomy of the ankle joint when the fracture is close to the ankle.the syndesmosis (ligament between the tibia and fibula) has been disrupted and doctors have repaired the ligament but recovery will take longer than just a standard high fibula fracture.

I can't see Benji being put on the wing. Despite learning all the time, I can see him being caiught out in defence on the wing and even in the centres. Still the only way to find out is if he is put there. I only really see him as a half/five-eight or at dummy half, splitting tired forwards up the middle.

I still rate Greally ahead of Miles and Moodie on the wing

I would rate John Skandalis ahead of Miles on the wing - I really have no idea what anyone sees in him.

But yeah Simon isn't a winger, Nowland looked fantastic last year and if Samia can regain his form after his injury I'm certain he'll grab a spot pretty early
