Or maybe he isn't and is FIFO......like Barrett is going to be....

He also said in 2022, what his future career goal was after leaving the Warriors:

"“I would like to help a young coach survive. That’s what I’d like to do going forward, so my head coaching days are over."

He would make decent coin , as an experienced coach in an assistant role

Far less to no scrutiny , minimal media commitments

350-400k ?? I’m guessing

He obviously does. Like Bernie said, they won’t give him any players he doesn’t want, but they also won’t give him every player he does want. Managing the future means managing the salary cap, and that determines the strength of the squad.
As long as we don't continue to buy from the Dan Murphy's out of date barrel and prefer to look deeper into the available Cabernet and Sauv Blanc grapes on the vine.

If the merkin moved to the Gold Coast for work why would he say it was for family reasons? If he was trying to get away from Brad Arthur’s why would he go all the way to the Gold Coast? If he was worried about Arthur’s stalking him he’d only need to live more than 5-7 minutes away.

Claiming he moved up there for anything other than family reasons is a bullshit conspiracy theory.

Only the highest paid NRL people move to the Gold Coast for work; star players and head coaches. There’s plenty more rugby league jobs in Sydney and the increased demand means they would pay better.

Nrown2 left Sydney for family reasons. He came back for work.
Guesswork nonsense opinion presented as if it was fact.

Welcome to the offseason on LU...

I thought they overachieved this season.

I do agree, but they definitely have improved a shit tonne from where they were in previous years.

Being able to sign good players on the market as well as being able to hold onto good juniors coming through will do that. Finding ways to throw around extra money outside the cap will help with that.

Oops, there i go again, throwing around accusations that are completely unfounded.

I mean, of course TPJ just decided one day he didn’t want to earn close to a million dollars playing footy, he wanted to go and earn nothing by boxing. But wait, he’s back again just a few months later with another team. Hmmmmm…not suspicious at all.

Actually, what is more fanciful is believing that there were “family reasons” strong enough to uproot your whole family and move interstate for, but not strong enough to keep you there for more than 6 months the moment a job offer arose where you just left.

Plenty of blokes put career ahead of family. I'm doing it myself at the end of the year.

So wtf knows but if I were BA and some new guy joins the club with a pretty big profile who is charged with analysing and determining issues holding back our club, and the results of his investigation are published/leaked during significant fan reaction to the Jake Arthur situation only for those results to be damning towards nepotism within our Club, even if its directed towards junior teams, I would be none too pleased.
Just my take on it.
That's one huge sentence eh? Punctuation isn't my strong point. 😁
