It's pretty hard to express the feeling from the Titans camp. The well-documented crap we've had to put with over the years off the field and on the field seem never-ending.

First Searle, then Searle's whipping boys May and now Annesley have perfected the ostrich strategy … well when the administration sticks its head in the ground with its tail in the air every time somebody farts then for sure the players will eventually see that pink puckered sphincter for what it is and drive one home for the gipper.

Cartwright would never say it but the whole goddamned rest of the world knew that his bad-boy rehabilitation plan involved little training, no commitment and a lot of dollars. The fallout continues.

I just hope that sanity prevails and the exodus of the twats from the club continues … if we can still hold on to the cub.

I hope the NRL don't give up on the coast. Their were (still are?) rumours about Bird and Myles looking elsewhere this off season. At this point I'd say "f**k it" let them leave, get rid of anyone involved in this off field nonsense, even if you essentially have to concede that you're getting the spoon because of fielding a bunch of youngsters.

Outside of actually folding/relocating, this is pretty much rock bottom. Might as well cleanse the place and start the rebuild.

For what it's worth I think long term it would be better to base them in the Southern corridor area, Ipswich/Logan or wherever they're looking at. Get set up with feeder clubs, invest properly in junior development, community engagement and genuinely make an area theirs.

I don't believe all the "but we can't abandon the Gold Coast". The Gold Coast will always be what it is, and football (of any description) will never be the priority.

Having said that, if the Titans can be saved then by all means, no fan should have to go through having their team ripped from them (even if it is what's best for the long term).

The Sharks, Tigers, Warriors and Cowboys wouldn't exist if that was the attitude.

I'm not talking about the Titans making a decision to move, I'm talking about if the NRL decide to do that. It would mean rebranding, new people in charge, clean slate etc. they wouldn't be the Titans.
