Jason Smith charged cocaine trafficking

Hopefully the Titans management can try and convince some company of the injustice of drug prohibition , and to give them a million or so a year for their logo to be displayed on their jersey....

I'm not saying you're wrong but at the principle of it, it's a bullshit situation. These 10 players need rehabilitation, not The Courier Mail selling a few papers off their plight.

What do you all think the punishment will be?

I mean if Dell got 2 years for using, surely a charge of supply will mean a heavier penalty?

Any Suns players involved?

I would've thought Karmichael would count as one of their number, and it isn't like AFL players don't have a big history with cocaine.

Not a bad way for the AFL to kill of the competition in the area...

Get a leaving suns player to entrap the whole squad of the titans in a drug ring...

Karmichael just cant stop f**king over RL

Recreational drug use is rife in society, and especially those 18-30 year old males, with large disposable income... which just happens to be footy players

Im not about to stick the boot in here, no club is immune from this kind of "sting".

They broke the law and have brought the game into disrepute.

If people want players executed for off-field discretions eg the Sutton/Burgess hysteria then that goes for drugs too.

Until drug use is made legal that is.

btw is i just me or did players not break the law 10 years ago or more or act like merkins.

It's now public hysteria.

I'd rather just let the courts sort it out.

Heck Smokin Joe Kilroy was still a great player who didn't deserve to be punished by the club after doing drugs when the courts were there to apply the law.

I don't care if a few idiots go out and dabble in drugs without hurting anyone. However, if you have signed off on a big money contract that strictly forbids you from this activity then you are an exceptional idiot.
