BingoHave to say, not sure why some people think Sloan could play 6 in the NRL. Doesn't appear to have a kicking game and I can't see him making 20 tackles a game.

If Ramsey is available, I believe him to be the better fullback. So, given that Amone and Sullivan are not available, I'd like to see Sloan given a go at 6, He surely can be tough to kick by Soward. and if not he will languish in reserve grade until he gains the skills we need in him.Have to say, not sure why some people think Sloan could play 6 in the NRL. we dont know if he has a kicking game or not, and Jamie Soward wasnt making 20 tackles per game , he may have been missing 20Have to say, not sure why some people think Sloan could play 6 in the NRL. Doesn't appear to have a kicking game and I can't see him making 20 tackles a game.
Apparently he has put on a bit of size which could give him confidence that he was lacking previously.Sloan won't be able to defend in the front line.
Got a good kicking game and played most of his footy at 6 might help his tackling to be in the lineHave to say, not sure why some people think Sloan could play 6 in the NRL. Doesn't appear to have a kicking game and I can't see him making 20 tackles a game.
Yep, terrible setbacks for these young fellas.I hope Hook does not use Bud's latest injury setback to limit his game time again. Saint's first game is in 8-9 weeks so plenty of time and will get some training in before kickoff. This poor kid is so unlucky. Same with Ramsey. I feel for these 2 future stars with their latest setbacks.
You can't learn to kick when you are 20.If Ramsey is available, I believe him to be the better fullback. Can't hide the non tacklers anymore, like they use to.we dont know if he has a kicking game or not, and Jamie Soward wasnt making 20 tackles per game , he may have been missing 20
Where do we hide Woods this season then !!!Can't hide the non tacklers anymore, like they use to.
He may already have a good kicking game, its just that we havent seen it.You can't learn to kick when you are 20.
With the Woolf…Where do we hide Woods this season then !!!
Jamie Soward just to coach him with kicks in play. Someone else can work on his defensive skills. Hopefully, this would have already been going on during the off-season.we dont know if he has a kicking game or not, and Jamie Soward wasnt making 20 tackles per game , he may have been missing 20
Griffo may have to do what our departed maestro done with JDB and play the big lug at half back .Where do we hide Woods this season then !!!
should you really be giving hook ideasGriffo may have to do what our departed maestro done with JDB and play the big lug at half back .
It wasn't all that badGriffo may have to do what our departed maestro done with JDB and play the big lug at half back .
But Lomax is the guy supposed to be chasing those kicksJamie Soward just to coach him with kicks in play. Someone else can work on his defensive skills. Hopefully, this would have already been going on during the off-season.
Sloan has a good passing game, good acceleration, an elusive step, and a good football brain. That is what we need most in our five-eighth. Maybe Lomax can help out with some of the kicks in general play, especially in the high kicks needing to land close to the line.
Good post. I agree!Sloans played heaps at 5/8 , its his other legit position already apart from fb and wing,. I bet when Hunts gone a Sloan/ Bud halves combo would be very dangerous!
In some other teams forward pack.Where do we hide Woods this season then !!!
