Jed & Turdy at it again

To save face, put a positive spin on it. Like I said, it's like when someone leaves a club and the fans suddenly decide they didn't want him anyway. Everyone knew Jed was a c**k before now but the Fader fans were happy to have him and even talked him up for Origin and all that >>> Hayne business, but as soon as the club indicates he's going to be marched the tune changes. It's easier to say "well done board" and take the high ground than to admit they have lost arguably their best player and they are now even more f**ked than before. Of course it's the right call, in-keeping with my policy on dickheads in the game. But I still don't buy this shit that Faders fans are dancing in the streets. And just as Faders fans are saving face over losing him I'll bet the fans of whichever club he signs for will be doing the same. "It's no different to Carney/Lui/any other dick who has been sacked and signed elswehere".

A lot of these disciplinary issues only surfaced recently. The club has had issues of a senior player influencing younger players with poor behaviour in Carney. As a fan, I want to see management act in the club's best interests. THATs why us fans are happy, the board is doing its job.

You obviously just get off on being contrarian.

Wighton to 5/8, McCrone to #9, Campese paid out and Bob's your uncle

Like Wighton to 5/8th long term. We need a better hooker than McCrone though, either in McIlwrick or a new signing. I hope Campo stays involved in the club if he gets paid out.

No I've just seen enough of this in the past to quite confidently decare bullshit. There might be a couple of fans who genuinely want him out but plenty more have only decided they don't want him AFTER the decision was made.

He hasnt broken the law, and he hasnt brought the game into disrepute. Hard to see on what

grounds the NRL could deregister him IMO.
I respectfully disagree.

Anyway, had SBW done either of those things? The NRL de-registered his contract.

I thought the raiders signing him for $700k per season was a stupid move anyway. so they are really dodging a bullet IMO

That's plainly incorrect. People started calling for his head as soon as the incident took place. The thing with Dugan is he isn't exactly the most likeable player in the world so a lot of raiders supporters didn't especially like him even at his best.

I suspect it would have been less if we had known Robinson was this good of a replacement, at the time we had no one and he was the best thing since slice bread.

Our backline depth is good and it means RR isn't stuck on the wing and we have Lee in there now.

Robinson suits Canberra better ATM. Neither Williams or mccrone are great ball players, last year Robinson showed he can do a lot more with the ball the Dugan, who is primarily a runner (admittedly a bloody good one)

I can't believe he's so stupid that he doesn't want to suck it up for $600k a year. He's got plenty of years left to be a rich dickhead.

And what was the consensus here before the decision was made?

Haha exactly, ECT is just making himself look stupid on this particular issue. Raiders fans were unanimous in wanting him out as soon as we saw just how little he cared for the club.

I really, really hope this comes back to bite Dugan on the arse. Nothing worse than an arrogant bogan.

"People" might equate to a small number, not the blanket wiping of hands going on today once it was known that he was gone.
Dude, you are completely full of shit. As soon as the story broke the vast majority of Raiders fans declared they had had enough and wanted him gone. For every person that wanted him to stay there are ten that wanted him gone.
