I will never understand idiots like Dugan and any other high-paid star who continually f**ks up.

If I was earning $600k+ a year I'd be doing everything I possibly could to make sure it continues. I just don't get why anyone with a brain would act like a dickhead and put something like that in jeopardy.

I mean I know money is far from everything, but it certainly f**king important. They say money doesn't buy you happiness.... but I'd be more than willing to be the judge of that.

Because some players are told how awesome they are from a very young age, develop massive egos, and have no other interests apart from football (Dugan himself admitted he does sweet FA outside of football in an interview). Throw in shitloads of money, and you're going to have problems.

Also, no matter how badly behaved you are, if you're talented enough, there will always be a big contract somewhere else. If not in the NRL, then in Superleague, Super Rugby, or Japanese Rugby.

Tear his contract up. The biggest benefit I don't think anyone's mentioned yet would be the extra half a mil + that could be spent on securing and upgrading Williams, Thompson and co. beyond this year.

My thoughts exactly, I like Duges his a good player, but he thinks he is more important then the rest of the team and he is holding us back. Cut him loose I say, let him go play for the Dragons or whoever for half as much as we were paying him, let him learn that he is not the be all and end all.

I truly believe that he will regret his behavior in the future.

If we sack him before round 13 another team can just sign him right. I'd just sit him out to round 13 and see where he is at mentally. If he hasn't grown a brain send him on his way if he's willing to work back to the top squad from Mounties then I'd keep him.

Let another club take him. If we keep this goose until round 13 we can rule 2013 a write off.

If he needs to get his head right or whatever let him do it at another club and let us move on. Yes we will lose experience but more importantly we lose a player who does not seem to care about the raiders.

Raiders management should have dealt with this earlier and better. Other problem players have been sorted out at other clubs by being given minders, older more experiences players with their heads on straight to keep the problem blokes in line. Ridiculous, as these are grown men, none the less it's worked. Instead the Raiders have allowed the dipshits to group up and feed off each other. Their little clique of stupidity should have never been allowed to fester, and failing that should have been identified and broken up when it emerged.
