Hmmm, is Weston Creek southside?
Yes.Hmmm, is Weston Creek southside?
So, not Furner press conference at 4pm?
Signing a player that injury prone for $600K was always a bad move.
Has hasn't proven to be a big game player anyway. Dude is weak as piss
You could even say as weak as a cruiser
Word getting round pretty continuously that he'll be sacked, warren smith seems to think his manager is ready shopping him around
We had a bit of a re-shuffle in that area after last season. Going ok so far, nothing major.
Meh i don't care anyways,William Hoppa is probably a giant genius away from a champion Manly team
That's good. I know we had awful injuries across the park for a couple years when Lang was coach. Most of it was reinjuries when players came back from injury. Like Ben Lowe missed a year and half cause he kept reinjuring the same foot
Its no coincidence that we got a new coach and a lot of the injuries dried up, we had a full squad by the finals IIRC
There are a lot of puzzling weird things with the Raiders in that area. We must lead the competition in staph infections which is a wrestling related injury but....we suck at wrestling.
Furner is still the problem, you guys have a top 4 squad on paper.
Not that there are that many top level coaches to choose from

Player power is shaping as the deciding factor in whether to sack stars Josh Dugan and Blake Ferguson, with speculation Dugan has already put out feelers for a new NRL team.
The Raiders have suspended repeat offenders Dugan and Ferguson indefinitely for an alcohol-related incident on Monday that resulted in noise complaints to police.
Blake Ferguson.
The pair failed to turn up for a recovery training session on Monday after Sunday's 32-10 loss to Penrith, later that day posting photos on Instagram of themselves drinking on the rooftop of a Nicholls home and giving the finger.
While Ferguson reported for a weights and video session on Tuesday, Dugan was still a no-show and club officials have not been able to make contact with him.
Raiders coach David Furner announced on Tuesday the club would conduct a review, including information provided by police, before making a decision on their futures. The Raiders want the situation resolved quickly and it will be discussed at a board meeting on Thursday. But it's understood the players will be consulted and play a prominent role in the decision.
Dugan, in particular, is quickly losing the respect of many of his teammates for his attitude to training as much as his repeated infringements.
One Sydney club claims it has already been contacted by Dugan's manager Paul Sutton about whether it would be interested in him. Sutton denied the claim and said he was yet to talk with Dugan.
Instead of reporting for training, Dugan posted this message on Twitter on Tuesday morning: ''I apologise to my teammates and the fans but this is personal and needs to be sorted out as soon as possible for me to move forward.''
Fairfax Media has learned:
■ On Monday afternoon Furner confronted Dugan and Ferguson at the Nicholls house, rented by Ferguson and Sandor Earl, after receiving a call from police;
■ Raiders staff had earlier tried to contact Dugan when he failed to report for training, calling his phone and attending his home;
■ Dugan was taunted by Panthers players on the field for being ''soft'' during his performance at Penrith;
■ Furner delivered a fiery post-match spray to his entire team for its insipid performance;
■ Dugan did not show for an off-season operation on his ankle and the club had to reschedule it a week later.
Dugan and Ferguson have been given numerous sanctions by the club, and Raiders players report they have been told they were on final warnings.
Dugan and Ferguson were stood down for one match last season for an alcohol-related incident, Dugan having broken team protocol by drinking while injured and Ferguson reporting to training under the influence of alcohol.
Fairfax Media has learned Dugan was set to avoid that suspension, but then turned up late to the following training session as well. Furner, who played 200 first-grade games for the Raiders, would not speculate on whether Dugan and Ferguson faced the sack, but couldn't hide his disappointment.
''That's a bit of an understatement, I am disappointed,'' Furner said. ''This is a proud club and we're trying to put wins on the board rather than being in the limelight for the wrong reasons.
''We've got a standard here and I've said it before, no one player, coach or staff is bigger than this club. We've had some of the best players playing the game come through this club. My thoughts are pretty strong.''
Furner said Raiders players felt equally let down. ''I think they're like everyone at the moment, they're extremely disappointed,'' Furner said.
''The leadership group will be consulted along with the board, management and staff.''
Canberra Raiders fullback Josh Dugan may have played last game for the club after blow-up with coach David Furner

AN EXPLETIVE-laden blow-up with coach David Furner shapes as the final straw in Josh Dugan's tumultuous career at Canberra.
The star fullback will front the Raiders board tomorrow to explain a 24-hour bender with teammate Blake Ferguson after Sunday's heavy loss to Penrith.
Both players have been stood down indefinitely, but Dugan might not be seen in lime green again after engaging Furner in a heated and abusive verbal confrontation yesterday morning.
After he missed both Monday's recovery session and yesterday's weights program, a fuming Furner confronted Dugan at the ACT residence where he'd spent much of the previous day and night drinking with Ferguson and other non-footballing friends.
Dugan was equally angry with the coach, who is believed to have questioned his opening round effort. The pair traded colourful insults and remarks, with the 22-year-old showing scant respect for Furner's authority.
Dugan then travelled to Sydney to meet with his management, where he spent last night.
He's expected to return to the ACT later today, with Raiders management already ordering Dugan to attend the board meeting
Chairman John McIntyre indicated last night the club was prepared to counsel Dugan through his issues, but working under Furner now appears an unlikely task after yesterday's stunning exchange. McIntyre was aware of the Furner incident, but refused to confirm Dugan's days were numbered. "He's got some issues and we need to help him with that," McIntyre said.
Dugan took to Twitter to apologise for breaking team protocol and revealed the extent of his problems.
"I apologise to my teammates and the fans but this is personal and needs to be sorted out as soon as possible for me to move forward," Dugan tweeted. "This goes beyond the drinking while injured. Yes I've broken team rules but for me it goes deeper and I plan on sorting it out."
Most thought Dugan was referring to his private life, which includes an up-and-down relationship with his long-term partner, who is also pregnant with the couple's first child.
But his close associates and friends knew better, having been made aware of Dugan's deteriorating respect for Furner over the off-season.
He's also expressed private regrets over re-signing last February in preference to a lucrative offer from Canterbury. That attitude has not impressed the Raiders' senior leadership group, which includes co-captains David Shillington and Josh McCrone, Shaun Fensom, Brett White, Shaun Berrigan and Tom Leoroyd-Lahrs.
They met yesterday and agreed that Dugan and Ferguson must be dumped from the side to tackle the Gold Coast.
It's the second time in the past 12 months they've been stood down, with the pair also missing last year's Round 12 clash against Souths for drinking while injured.
Ferguson was also fined $5000 for spitting at a patron at an ACT music festival over Christmas, but is expected to survive because his attitude towards football and training has generally remained positive.
St George Illawarra shape as an obvious option should Dugan leave the Raiders. The Dragons have plenty of space to move under this year's salary cap and coach Steve Price attempted to woo Dugan to the club last year.
