Raiders management should have dealt with this earlier and better. Other problem players have been sorted out at other clubs by being given minders, older more experiences players with their heads on straight to keep the problem blokes in line. Ridiculous, as these are grown men, none the less it's worked. Instead the Raiders have allowed the dipshits to group up and feed off each other. Their little clique of stupidity should have never been allowed to fester, and failing that should have been identified and broken up when it emerged.

Dugan is a trackhead, but he's the second best fullback in NSW and a genuine star, if the Raiders give him the ass another club will benefit from his talent eventually.

Is he really either of those things though? since he debuted we've all been told how good he is yet aside from a few flashes of brilliance here and there (which really any player is capable of doing) he has shown to be little more than an injury prone dick head. Anyone can have loads of potential, hell its tricked many clubs into throwing huge money at guys in the past. But consistency and performance is another thing and he has very rarely shown either.

We had a bit of a re-shuffle in that area after last season. Going ok so far, nothing major.

Bloody good question.

He's a great fullback on his day, but he's not a sensible one. Its easy to be a kamikaze fullback - almost all of your contact is at full speed, but we can see with his SBW type injury list that he possibly hasnt got the brains for the spot that similarly built players like Mini and Snake have. Hayne is more solid - Inglis more solid still, but the long career fullbacks AVOID the collisions where possible. Thats why Bowen is so f*cking awesome.

Class fullbacks dont play on the wing (unless it's Origin and your coach is blowing the tattooed wonderkid), but with his abilities Dugan could make a top class centre, especially outside a clever playmaker.

I doubt he'd add anything to our club - even with our sh*t roster. We are a class backrower and class centre short - and a gun young prop would be nice. Plus we have a "no dickheads" policy.

How much would he be worth on the open market anyway? He's on $600k because of his potential, but take some cash away for his injuries, and more for being a chronic d*ckhead......$350?

And the Raiders don't have to sack him or release him. Just stand him down for the year. Keep paying him. Then cut him at the end of the year.

Hope duges goes to the dragons, they need a fullback. Also ferg whilst talented.. Is a dumb merkin. I'm of the belief that simply having talent does not mean we need them.. I have wanted Reece Robinson at fullback since he came on last season and played incredibly well.
