It's a 7's jersey from 1995. Certainly interesting that one that's for sure. Guess the designers were like "wow we can put Tiger prints on a jersey now! Pass me some more coke.....

I was about to point out that the designers would have all been on coke in the 80s... then you said it was thirsty work... we were thinking different things...

reminds me, i was in amart the other day, noticed that the retro Warriors jerseys were polyester, but the knights jerseys from 2 years after were cotton, i think even dragons had cotton for a few years after that. was it jst team choice to go with what they liked?

Think it was just the start of the polyester revolution for jerseys around 1995/6.

Wouldn't take any notice of the types of material used for those Retros, they're all made in China and the quality is shocking. They're not a true representation of the jerseys.

cows hooped v was just their SL jersey minus the big S badge. It didn't occur to me that nqld had a hooped v though when we were talking about it the other day.

Not sure if anyone can confirm this but in the 1997 Sevens, the Crushers wore a completely different jersey.

I remember it was maroon with a gold and silver stripe on the side.

Anyone know what the Crushers sock striping actually is? I had it pegged as plain navy with red tops and no gold but the pics prove otherwise.

I dunno if this jersey was ever worn in an NRL game but it's interesting to see the NRL badge in the middle of the jersey.
