Just wondering why the diagonal lines on the pandas jersey don't line up? did it look strange with them matching? The bottom one is a continuous line but it appears with the sponsor thrown in the lines were then skewed.

I also thought the black was originally done with a bamboo gradient look? thought it was a nice touch.

Optical illusion. I can guarantee the lines are straight. Just whacked a white sponsor box over the top.

I believe you, because I just used the edge of my phone to line them up, but wow! That's a crazy illusion, I would have bet my house they didn't match !

Just figured it out. It is because in reality there are actually 5 lines but at first glance it appears 4 that are skew-if. Perhaps in the flesh it won't be so off-putting. As it stands i think you'd improve the design massively by eliminating the deceptive optical illusion.

Just figured it out. It is because in reality there are actually 5 lines but at first glance it appears 4 that are skew-if. Perhaps in the flesh it won't be so off-putting. As it stands i think you'd improve the design massively by eliminating the deceptive optical illusion.

If you move the sponsors box a little lower, I think it would eliminate the optical illusion. You only need to lower it enough, so part or the top stripes goes the entire way across the jersey.

Those panda jerseys are alright but for all the issues people raise about poor sponsorship integration I would have thought it wouldn't have a huge white sponsor box.

The Pandas jersey looks better with the white "box" around it then it did without it IMO, the box broke the stripes up which gave them the illusion of being uneven without that unevenness being exaggerated, which strangely looks really cool.

Origin would be good, easy to spot someone wearing a Panda jersey for a meet up.

It's a version of - The red on the current one is thicker and the Blue ends in a flat V

The jersey I posted above is their 1998-2000 era jersey

The current one is the 2002 replica

Spot the differences with the red and blue stripes
I love the current away jersey - but I still think the 2000 model was better

The flat spots on the V are ugly. I hated them in the early 2000's and I hate them now; so close to being good but ISC messed up the original design to fit their logo into the base of the blue V. If the chooks didn't win it in 2002, they wouldn't be wearing it now.
