Just browsing facebook marketplace and came across an ad by (I assume) Michael De Vere's missus, he's selling a Test jersey, a NSW city origin jersey and a Huddersfield one as well.

Please excuse my child like drawing skills.

I always thought it’d be cool if Nike stayed with the NRL after super league and jerseys were handled a bit more like they are in the NBA and NFL.

Here’s a (very poor) mock-up of how I think jerseys could look if there was some type of standardisation of the jerseys, while still allowing clubs to retain their identities

I’m not sure I follow. You want Nike to be major sponsor of each team? With a giant swoosh?

I know, it’d be better to have stylised names as DeeJ posted, but I just figured for traditional sponsors were to be removed, some money would need to come from somewhere, and as lame as it is, Nike is a “cool” global brand and the tick is easy to use as an aspect of the jersey. By that I mean, the colour of the tick would work in with the club colours. It wouldn’t necessarily have to be Nike, it Adidas or New Balance could work too, i just thought Nike as they could make boots to match the jerseys. But this is all fantasy land stuff. I can’t ever seeing anything like this happening with the NRL.

nope, weve gone down the F1 path of as many sponsors as we can cram on a kit, no turning back now.
