@Perth Red what are your thoughts on a more simplistic logo? I’m a very amateur at graphic design, but I think something like this would be better than what they have now

Good effort. I think current logo is a bit busy But I quite like it’s style. This is one I did for a possible supporters club when we thought we might get a team. Uses the same skull out of the log but a bit simpler.

This kit designer is way better than the shitty one I was using.

Have you gone with green? Interesting…. I think if the Pirates are to be Perth’s team they should borrow the Roosters jersey template. Their jersey is the cleanest in the comp IMO and would suit many different colourways.


I also think that the new teams should begin with more traditional style ‘rugby league’ jerseys. I thought the Titans initial jersey along with their name seemed very “plastic” as they say. Their jersey was unique but it was also a bit weird and then they chopped and changed their basic design every couple of seasons. I don’t see the Titans ever moving back to that original design, whereas someone like the Sharks, they still base their jersey on their original design. They’ve had plenty of different jerseys, but their original was so simple and clean that it’s the obvious choice to refer back to after trying something else.

Start with something that looks good now, would have looked good 50 years ago and will probably look good in 50 years.

I love the way the Milwaukee Bucks use Green and Cream. It’s a classy combo and I think it could work well in Australia
