I was watching last years yesterday, and no doubt this years is the same, but a LOT of the players were from NRL, anyone know the rules regarding this?

Not being racist or what not but I know whitey wouldn't be allowed to come have a run for my open 3s team if he wanted...

Open 3 team? The knock out is a one off weekend comp.
It is one of the biggest cultural events in the Aboriginal community.
So yeah, 'whitey' probably wouldn't be allowed if he wanted......

Pretty sure they have an allowance for players not of aboriginal descent. I think it may be 2 or 3 per squad.

I don't think there is. From what I know, it's all Aboriginal.

Yeah it's a big deal and I think it's great they get involved,
As far as I know , No matter what, even if it's a charity game, NRL players arnt allowed to play for anyone else.. I out a charity game on last year and I was basically told to get stuffed.

I think it's great that the NRL closes it's eye for a weekend I was just wondering the rules

I like the mockup Panthers jersey above. I think that design is synonymous with the Panthers, but would prefer the licorice all sorts colour combo. A little concerned to see gold added to teal.
We would then have
Eels - blue, gold
Cowboys - blue, yellow, silver, white
Titans - blue, gold, white
Panthers - black, teal, gold

Obviously they are all different, but there is symmetry, particularly with away / alternate jerseys. The Panthers will always be predominately black though so not too much problem. I note GC have lessened the use of gold too.
Better than Super Rugby. 4 of the 5 Aust teams have blue as their main colour, which is a bit stupid.

Did anyone catch the Sydney Shield GF on Fox today? The Belrose jersey would be great for Catalans in the SL.
