I'm not against what the NRL does to the bad boys as long as it's consistent.
I disagree with your last sentence - many League fans rub their grubby paws together when another club f**ks up in some way, whilst downplaying the shit in their own clubs.

I think most RL fans rub their gruuby paws together when another club's players fk up, purely to lay the boot into the NRL and their wildly inconsistent rulings on certain clubs and players when compared to other clubs and players.

Racking lines off a strangers phone in the street doesn't seem stupid at all.
Wanna know what's even more stupid?

1 in 6 phones these days have fecal matter on them. That means there is a 1 in 6 chance that they snorted an 'extra ingredient' that night as well.

I think Bromwich and Proctor have both stuffed the rlpa push for 29% and players having a greater role in the game. Why the hell would the nrl want that? The Nrl would be stupid not to put behavior clauses.

Well, from the evidence available, the NRL is 'stupid'.

I can't believe how much power the players already have - before this current collective bargaining period began. I can't believe how much coin a lot of average footballers are on now. Happy for the very top echelon to earn big dollars, players who consistently win matches for their club but there are some blokes who are being paid like stars who will never ever be. It will be beautiful to watch the reaction of the RLPA and the NRL if the next TV rights deal is flat or less than the current one.

Managers are running the show. It's a joke that players are leaving clubs at all times of the season. Players not having to see contracts out and clubs pushing players out before their contract ends.

The NRL is a mess in so many areas. First and foremost, the leadership is woeful. The Commission has thus far has pretty much been a joke. Greenburg, who apparently hates the politics of the job, sounds only like a politician. No action. Few original ideas.

This rep weekend has been awful. Why stop the competition proper for it? Surely there is a better solution?

The NRL season draw is a mess. Teams playing the same side 5 weeks apart in a 16 week comp??? A few teams playing regularly on a set day of the week. What the f**k?

Gimmick and exhibition games played preseason that the average fan don't give a shit about.

Now another 100 million to be spent arresting the demise of junior participation rates? Do these blokes realise it is 10 years or more too late?

Geez NRL, grow a pair ffs.

I think fans should be consistent as well - some clubs are more generally hated by fans of other clubs and this is reflected in the way they focus on these clubs. Cronulla and the ongoing peptide bullshit is a good example and you can be sure SKD will cop more than Proctor and Bromwich.

SKD tested positive didn't he? CCTV footage is grainy at best & may well be inconclusive enough...relying on some waster's naming of 2 high profile blokes opens a can of worms. Maybe that's why the footage isn't in the news & no charges are laid yet?

I can understand Jessie, the best Prop Forward in the game can't play for Australia . . . maybe Kevin talked him into drowning his sorrows

Best in the game last year for sure. But his form this year has been hit by injury but when he has been on the field he has been bog average. Maclean has been better as has big Nelson for Storm.

Just doing a bit of winding up ol' mate, I'm not into 'best' when Front Rowers are concerned. Players that get rested in games should all take the opportunity to make up for their absence . . . they take turns to shine imo

That incident has barely rated a mention in most media. Channel 9 should also have a bit of shit thrown their way for actually airing it.

Its Blowing up my social feeds. Comments went down like a lead balloon in the indigenous community and his been stood down by the indigenous foundations he was doing work for.

But barely a mention of it any where else

Pretend to f**k a maltese terrier- 8 week suspension and a $75k fine.

Snort coke like a boss in Canberra and get on CCTV- probably nothing.

The rugby league world awaits with baited breath.

Don't be silly. You know as well as i do that they are both in a world of strife.

In JBs case the NRL punishment will ne a far cry from the rounds of the kitchen he will get from Bellamy, Smith and the Storm board. Even if he cops 12 weeks (and as a Storm fan I think he should be suspended) he knows he's done real harm to Melbourne going one better this year.

I imagine that is more punishment than a fine or a suspension.

Which is why im confident that they'll carry that form on during his suspension.

Sam Thaiday would be the most relieved person with all these cocaine scandals going around.

This bloke has a bit of history with stupid comments or 'humour' as he puts it. He's been allowed to get away with it by his coach, club and the NRL and Ch 9 has let him have the microphone too often.

I can't understand why he hasn't been pulled up for it well before now. The fact that he hasn't has lead to this latest gaffe. He needs to pull his head in.

Standing in front of the kicker the other week with his arms in the air said it all. Fool.
