Trindall and Kennedy? both looked better than Flanno to me.
I haven't seen enough of any of them, but I agree.Trindall and Kennedy? both looked better than Flanno to me.
Didn't mind the 12 in flegg looks a likely type
Was not impressed 1 bit with young Flano unfortunately, poor mans Cleary really, and I also think Cleary is overrated.
That was Carr yeah. Both the backrowers are really promising. Wilton started for U20s origin this year. Carr came off the bench. Very promising players. Carr has some mongel in him too.
Watched both games yesterday and a few standouts - Trindall, Lumelume, Ferris and Polselli. The 5/8th was a hog, needs to learn to pass it more. Xerri hardly got any ball but should have gone looking a bit more.
Magoulis needs to stop pushing stupid passes. Won't get close to first grade till he stops it.
Evans - let's face it, he's a fill in player for the ISP comp and shouldn't even play. You could argue he cost us the game with two terrible plays but it was our halves inability to control that second half that cost us.
From the Jets I thought Katoa, Brailey, Nikora were pretty good.
Brailey always looks dangerous.
Flanno needs to really work on his game management, he's not a superstar and never will be but atleast if he can control a game well he might get somewhere. Another year for the Jets and he might improve.
I hope we see a few of the Flegg boys go up to Jets next year - Xerri, Ferris, Cruz astleast. Not sure how old Trindall is, it's atleast his second year in U20s after being with the Storm last year. Carr and Wilton might be ready.
I want to like Magoulias as we need more skilful forwards in the game but he just isn't selective enough.
From ALL reports Flanno jr has Jets written all over him. At best.
What a golden opportunity to make a statement. Get this one done and play GF day as 2nd main game.
Shouldve been jumping out of his skin to play the house down. And another opportunitu lost.
If it was a junior carnival the kid would never get picked up. The ones who shine when the pressures on are the ones wanted. Not the ones who do the business against nobodies.
Riley jacks from storm cant get a gig.
One 20 from 25. Obviously knows the position.
Well coached.
After the way the seasons ended, I’d be ensuring someone was in trindals ear saying keep focused. One more season in Reggie’s or flegg and then you can have a go.Add this to his performances in NYC last year when the Sharks were minor premiers, PJ scored like 340 points in the season proper then folded like a wigwam in a tornado during the semis.
Can not handle pressure
