Tough loss for the jets, needed more composure. Still, I’d be surprised if a couple of them didn’t become long term first graders. Brailey and Nikora are great talents. Kennedy has been a lot better in other games.

Whole sharks team (or close to) were in the crowd.

Katoa showed a lot of skill in the first half try he scored.......but not much else I'm afraid!
Evans letting two tries in on his wing won't do his future any favours!

I was impressed with Trindall, excellent kicking game for starters and stamped his authority on the game. And agree with others' comments about him being a greater quantity than Flanno Jnr, at least on today's performances.

One comment on the first half kicking game, there was a bloody strong wind blowing which was favouring Canterbury and Flanno Jnr chose to kick as he did to try to get around that wind.

Utlimately Jets had their chances, and blew them.

Only watched the Flegg

3. Trindall
Controlled the play, defended very well, MOM halfback play in a GF
2. Poiselli
Was not perfect but was our best attacker.
1. Lumelume
Ran strong all game.

HM, Xerri - was lazy but
The 8 ran strong too.

Didn't mind the 12 in flegg looks a likely type

That was Carr yeah. Both the backrowers are really promising. Wilton started for U20s origin this year. Carr came off the bench. Very promising players. Carr has some mongel in him too.

Watched both games yesterday and a few standouts - Trindall, Lumelume, Ferris and Polselli. The 5/8th was a hog, needs to learn to pass it more. Xerri hardly got any ball but should have gone looking a bit more.

Magoulis needs to stop pushing stupid passes. Won't get close to first grade till he stops it.

Evans - let's face it, he's a fill in player for the ISP comp and shouldn't even play. You could argue he cost us the game with two terrible plays but it was our halves inability to control that second half that cost us.

From the Jets I thought Katoa, Brailey, Nikora were pretty good.
Brailey always looks dangerous.
Flanno needs to really work on his game management, he's not a superstar and never will be but atleast if he can control a game well he might get somewhere. Another year for the Jets and he might improve.

I hope we see a few of the Flegg boys go up to Jets next year - Xerri, Ferris, Cruz astleast. Not sure how old Trindall is, it's atleast his second year in U20s after being with the Storm last year. Carr and Wilton might be ready.

Was not impressed 1 bit with young Flano unfortunately, poor mans Cleary really, and I also think Cleary is overrated.

Yes. I gave him a bagging halfway through the year. Felt a bit bad for him with the second try but all in all just a pedestrian.

Jets really missed Bessie. Very close to the best player during the semis

From ALL reports Flanno jr has Jets written all over him. At best.

What a golden opportunity to make a statement. Get this one done and play GF day as 2nd main game.

Should I ijve been jumping out of his skin to play the house down. And another opportunitu lost.

If it was a junior carnival the kid would never get picked up. The ones who shine when the pressures on are the ones wanted. Not the ones who do the business against nobodies.

Riley jacks from storm cant get a gig.
Won 20 from 25. Obviously knows the position.
Well coached.

Add this to his performances in NYC last year when the Sharks were minor premiers, PJ scored like 340 points in the season proper then folded like a wigwam in a tornado during the semis.

Can not handle pressure

After the way the seasons ended, I’d be ensuring someone was in trindals ear saying keep focused. One more season in Reggie’s or flegg and then you can have a go.
