As you would appreciate being part of the Dragons royalty, most of our problems related to turnstiles up our left and right wings and through the centres. Our three fullbacks this year were the least of our problems. Hind junior club is bilambil jet in the tweed district.
Hind is only 23 so still young.
Wakeman and mary had a full out and he was never going to play nrl while mary was there.
Also wakeman was 27 or 28 so that would of come into it.

Can you explain why Dodd, Nona. or Wakeman were never given a chance. A fall out would be an underestimate regarding Shannon tbh.

That was our problem. Couldn't get out of the 10 metre line. Out of position and couldn't make any metres. Couldn't defend our line. Are you happy with that?

Damn straight. Nona definitely deserved to be a halves pairing when Hutch did his ACL. McGregor bypassed that idea by putting in McCrone. JD left St George shaking his head. He keeps in touch with all his ex-players too. He even took Bennett to watch Shannon play in ESL. Go figure.

Nothing against Shannon Wakeman, I liked him. But if he was as good as some believe in here he would be playing first grade a long time ago, even if it wasn't for us.

I think Joel Thompson is overrated, especially on this forum. People talk him up as a potential captain but I don't see it. He hasn't really gone to the next level as I'm sure the club expected when he signed on, in fact, he's been surpassed by our other backrowers. I like to sink the boot into the club for poor decisions but I won't on this occasion

I think it just comes down to who you replace him with. You don't want to be booting an NRL standard player unless you have a replacement that's cheaper or better. At the end of the day it doesn't make much sense because he was still contracted to the dragons and it didn't seem like he wanted to leave. (Don't quote me on this though). I assume he is being forced out to make way for graham in the forward pack but I just don't see the point. If the dragons stopped playing a utility on the bench then there wouldn't be a problem. I think the forward pack looks a lot better with Thompson there than without him. Just an opinion though.

Mate don't worry to much about it , we all tend to type not so good when we are rushing to do things at the same time , as I am right now , on my phone, can hardly see my keys trying to look after baby twin girls at the same time . So a few mistakes here and there by all is nothing to worry about as long as we get our message across ....

Intetestingly, Seb Ikahihifo has been included in the ESL team of the year (2017).
Should have been given an opportunity but McGregor opted for Page and Mark Ioane.
So where are they now?
I realise ESL is a long way off NRL but he must have had morebtalent than the other 2.

This is very true. This is all theoretical as it stands. I hope he stays at St George I'm quite sick of manly poaching players from every other club in the comp.
