well I heard we're talking to Will Chambers, he would make a good addition
Wes Naiqama
Kane Linett
Ben Pomeroy

These are centres off contract. Cronulla have a gun centre in U/20's, Mills I think his name is, very good player in the making

We need another hooker as Mitchell is on the way out. I think Aiton would be a good pickup, very good out of dummy half

Chambers would yes. We should keep Mitchell... he could be a gun if coached correctly. Aiton is handy but Mitchell has more potential. Pomeroy is one of the worst first graders going around at the moment.

I agree with everyone else - if he desn't want to be here, let him go. I still think he is underrated as a player but really, his head has been elsewhere all year.

He would be on decent coin too - it is scary to think how much money we have under the cap and we haven't got anyone yet...........

I think it's scary too all that salary cap space and still no top players want to go there. To be honest I think you played better under DA I think you've gone backwards under SK.

What??!!??

You think we played better under a multiple premiership coach with 10+ years experience than under a rookie head coach?!?!

Thankyou captain obvious!

Yeah well we've got the Parra Academy now.
That's where all our good players are going to come from.

After round 8:

(Anderson)
2009: 3 wins
2010: 4 wins

(Kearney)
2011: 3 wins

You're right. We were loads better under Anderson. Do you think it might've had something to do with the better playing roster we had prior to this year?

I haven't read all the pages so sorry if it has been mentioned but last week there was the rumour that Beau Champion was wanting to come back to Sydney. I'd would most definitely welcome him to the club.

Haven't we already passed on him?

I think he is very expensive. Read somewhere $375k.

He has a lot of errors in his game from what I can see.

Everyone is mentioning all these names that we have supposedly missed.

Have we really chased them?

Has the club come out and stated that we are talking to player A, Player B, etc?

Or is it just complete rubbish from jurno's looking for a story?

I'm still waiting for the 2pm announcement from yesterday....

to bad we can't have a fan cleanout.

Once fans understand that winning is not a legitimate aim then they will be fine. This club is about building and rebuilding and talking and structure and accounting tricks. Winning on the field? Whoever said that was on the agenda?

Gotta get the structure, and the broom, and blame the last coach, and the last GM. Learn the jargon and keep spinning the shit like a politician.

Once fans accept all that, they will be happy.

Well we have missed out on Sandow (according to newmanj). Are you denying that we chased Duffie, Symonds, Blair (Stagger posted that he had also agreed to terms)?

Player manager contacts telegraph reporter with such story. Story gets printed, fans react, club officials react, player gets offered larger contract, rival clubs beat it or not, player and manager have fatter wallets, the fans have been conned.

Reddy is no more than a steady 1st grader who is becoming injury prone. The club would be fools to pay overs for him, which means we most likely will.

PARRAMATTA'S recruitment strategy is in tatters with the revelation centre Joel Reddy is on the verge of quitting and with Souths' boom halfback Chris Sandow poised to reject a $2million deal to move west.
And in a further blow to the former NRL powerhouse, Roosters forward Tom Symonds yesterday knocked back a big-money approach from the desperate Eels to remain at Bondi for a further three seasons.

The Daily Telegraph can reveal three rival NRL clubs and one English Super League team have swooped on
Joel Reddy, one of the club's more consistent players.

The Eels have now missed out on Symonds, Storm forward
Adam Blair and gun halves Cooper Cronk and Quade Cooper.

Sandow is expected to announce soon he is staying loyal to the Rabbitohs.

At the same time, Parramatta have yet to even put an offer in writing to Reddy because they have been waiting to check his recovery from a shoulder reconstruction.

All this just a week after coach Stephen Kearney declared: "I aim to provide the necessary stability and direction as head coach that will ensure our retention program will hopefully put an end to our current players leaving the club."

Reddy is tipped to sign with one of the three rival clubs within the next fortnight, with the Bulldogs and Cronulla believed to be among the clubs chasing him.Reddy's manager Steve Gillis confirmed last night it was unlikely the City Origin centre from last season would be staying with the Eels.

"Joel's loyal to Parramatta and he loves the players out there. He would like to stay but at this stage we haven't got an offer in writing," Gillis said. "At the same time there is plenty of interest in his talents and other clubs are keen to recruit him.

"He's only recently married and his wife is expecting their first child so you can understand he has to think about his family and his future."

After being heavily criticised for losing quality players Feleti Mateo and Kristan Inu to the Warriors and signing only old stagers like Chris Walker, Paul Whatuira and Carl Webb as replacements, Kearney spoke just last week about his plans to overhaul the Eels' recruitment which included appointing ex-Broncos football manager Peter Nolan as chief recruitment officer.
"The first part of our plan is already under way and it involves a more structured and specific approach to recruitment and retention of players and staff," Kearney said. "It has been very frustrating for me as a newcomer to watch former Parramatta players running around playing for other clubs against the Eels."

Might be just me, but the reads alot differently than Joel Reddy is quitting the club.
Using the article as a basis, any player that is not re-signed "quits" the club.
