Agreed it should have, but I would have been cursing our luck if he did. The majority of the time someone goes for an intercept like that they spill it. Claiming Morris put it on the chest of Quinn was blatant hyperbole, it was inches from above his reach.

Definitely should have put it through the hands, but I've seen Benji make mistakes like that as well.

Maybe Sheens is happy with Farah and Marshall running the team. Having another organiser type at five eighth may upset the balance of the team.

Thankfully in John Morris, we have a player who is not an organiser or attacking weapon. Sheens is a genius!!

I'm not sure if your being sarcastic or not but with our attack being the third highest in the comp your probably on the money.

Yeah being sarcastic, but there may be some truth with Farahs reported ego not wanting another ballplayer in "his" team

He seems a lot more comfortable in the #6, and as Benji's game settles in he'll probably start to look a lot more consistent in attack. A better running player than creative one though, as his try off the Marshall/Moltzen break showed...

So we're 7 games in a row with the same halves pairing, right? When was the last time we managed this? 2005?

I notice Morris still gets in at first receiver on the odd occasion though. Should only ever be attempted when Benji's got something on the boil out wide...

Morris is a much better 5/8 than 7, for sure. It took the supercoach 3 years to figure out that he was no Cooper Cronk. When J-Mo was at Parra, he was playing good footy at 6 and Sheens stuffed that up. Having said that, I'd still rather have a Moltzen in there. Moltzen can only improve whereas J-Mo, well we've seen what he has...a good toiler.... but not much of a creative player.

Yet another woefully inept performance from our star signing of 3 years ago. Only we could sign a halfback who can't f**king kick in general play. What a useless piece of sh*t player. I don't care how many tackles he makes or anything else, if he's playing halfback, and can't do the things halfbacks are meant to do (pass, kick, attack the line etc etc), he shouldn't be f**king playing halfback.

That kick on the fourth out on the full sums him up. Great in D, but he's got NOTHING in attack.

Should never ever play in the halves.

He's not a bad foil for Benji when Benji is in full flight. The problem is that when Benji is a bit off, Morris just doesn't provide an alternative.

I rate Morris- especially in the interchange role but not as a starting player in the halves. I agree that he probably is a settling influence on Marshall but I hope that is not the only reason he is holding the 5/8 position down.

Teflon thinks the sun shines out of his a### but I cant fathom him not being able to see Morris's very limited (if any) attacking potential, Morris in defence is great and his utlitiy value is good but attack just isnt there.
