I rate Morris- especially in the interchange role but not as a starting player in the halves. I agree that he probably is a settling influence on Marshall but I hope that is not the only reason he is holding the 5/8 position down.
.

I'd agree with this, his defensive workload is perfectly suited to an injection off the bench when the big boppers are gettng tired, and the attacking can be left to the people that can actually do it.

This is out of the ordinary, but I see swapping Moltzen with Morris, having Molt go to 5/8 and J Mo to FB.

J Mo is a surprisingly quick support player and seems to have a instinct for the ball.

He's quite fast, and I'm sure his positioning would be okay. He would stay out of the attack for the most part which is a plus, and he could direct the defensive line which would help as he's a great defender.

This would allow Moltzen to play his best in the halves etc.

It couldn't be all too bad.

J-Mo to fullback ?? Some people shouldn't be allowed to speak on matters pertaining to Rugby League. You are one of them.

I feel sorry for tigers fans. Balmain used to be my second team back in the day. And the way Morris gets continually shafted in the halves saddens me. He'd be a very very good 14.

Seriously, put him at Fullback.

SuperSheens will sooner or later.

He'll probably use the exact same reasoning as me.

God Sheens is an idiot.

I hope you are being sarcastic. The guy is a big workhorse no doubt but not creative enough to be 6 or 7. Maybe a fill in 9. That's about it.

Yeah, I am.

Ideally I see John as a good 13 or 14, he'd be an excellent interchange player to make tackles when Halatau etc are tired.

He could even work on becoming a good wide running backrower, if he bulks up a touch more since he got a bit of pace, and a little bit of grunt when he hits the line. I suppose Ellis offers this, however we need another since Heighington and most of the benchies don't offer much in this regard. I think him and Galea could both become very good players for the club if played properly, as they seem to possess a similar style.

He would definitely be in my top 5 players at the Tigers this season so far with Lawrence, Sauce, Farah and Heighno.

I still think Morris saves us more points in defence than he costs us in attack.
