A good man Overton. Club was in pretty good hands when he was around. We've lost some gooduns.

I'm a believer that there should be at least one board member who has an NRL background. Not necessarily a player. Could be a coach, administrator etc preferably with an Eels history. Probably a tall order for our club though.
Sounds like the next meeting might be worth attending. You could shout me a beer?

I agree with that concept too, however it does need to be someone with a little bit of business nous included with their football experience.

My mate got a member's email with some pretty good gossip in this area.
I wonder what the future holds.

I am reminded of the time I met Roy for the first time. Yoda introduced me to him, then when walking away Yoda said to me “ Count your fingers, and do that every time you shake hands with that man”

I don't count my fingers... I just refuse to shake his hand.
