I met a friend of my bosses who is a tragic eels fan. The vote came up and he and his family were about to vote Spags cronies in as they had no idea who was pushing this BS. Once I told him he changed his mind quick smart. That’s 4 votes now not going to Spags.

Yeah it’s really shit when voting members don’t know anything about what they are voting for.
So many just see the team almost finish last and think that voting someone off the leagues club board will change that, even though the leagues club doesn’t have control of the football team.

He seems to be all about asking questions of the board members, which is fine. But this can be done at any of the board elections which happen every year or any AGM. Some of his points don’t make sense, including the last point he makes “Why did we let Jontay Junior Betham-Misa go to QLD Cup’ which you only need to look at that question to know why it’s stupid.
