Thanks for the updates. Good to see Spags fall 200+ votes short again...

So all the special resolutions got up? And one of them (if I recall correctly) was to prevent people who had previously had adverse findings (deemed unfit or improper) by relevant authorities to become a Club Director?

See you later Spags - time for the old self-interested warrior to give up his dream of Eels power.

So I was most impressed with the two presentations given last night by the CEO's of the Leagues Club and the NRL club.

I was of the impression that the leagues club additions were going to be something other than what I saw.

The new club house will be built on the current site where the open-air car park is. It will be the same height as the multi-story car park and back on to said car park giving people access to the club kinda like it was at Wenty Leagues back in the day.

Once built by 2028 the current leagues club will be demolished and a "Podium" facility with a hotel on top will be built.

I hope the club can get these presentations filmed and put on our sites to explain our current course for all members. Parra Leagues club CEO Chris Dimou was fantastic at selling the project last night.

Also, The line up for a feed at the bistro was out the door when I arrived at 5:45pm

So I went down for a feed at Cafe 88. Nice place, lovely nooks with their own TV's and Power points, and phone charging sockets (USB A and C) No Pokies in sight (that was one of the questions at the AGM was would the new venue have rooms that didn't have pokies in them)
