didnt say he didnt deserve his call up

Well, you did say that he`s slower than your grandmother; that we should get rid of him (and Ben Smith - I don`t disagree there); and "how come we blooded another dud?" It seems like you`re being a bit harsh on the boy!

Yeah apparently Reddy didn't have speed or agility when he came into first grade either....He's not going to be a world beater but he seems reliable and I have to say for all our erratic "superstars", reliability and stability is also needed to compliment these players. To me Joel Reddy is the first picked back each week, because you ask him to do a job and he will do it. I always feel safe with Reddy.

Yep. For all his brilliance, if I had to make a choice between Hayne and Reddy - well, I`d have to think long and hard about it.

he reminded me of ben smith in his rookie year. pretty good first game. i am a little confused though about all the salary cap hoopla that went on a few weeks ago and why we couldn't play some rookies then.
tbh he reminded me ALOT of ben smith's play (mostly solid D, but not alot of attack) - which baffles me that so many are saying how well he went when ben is one of the forum whipping boys

Yea i said all that... but i never said he wasn't going well enough in the NYC, to deserve a call up!!! DA has to have a look at what he's been left with!!!
Maybe over 100 he'd beat the ole girl... but off the mark, she'd make him look ordinary !!!
I just said what i thought!!! maybe went i alittle to far calling him a dud...

wow - apparently Jono ran over slippery sucker's dog!!

Sad to think that this is probably the end of Ben's First Grade days, but overjoyed for Jono.

When someone dominates NSW Cup week in week out - they deserve to have a crack at first grade. Fail or not, he deserved his shot,l and hopefully he is allowed time to adjust to the speed of firstgrade and we have a handy centre in the ranks.

Happy for ya Jono!! Rowdy and I will have to owe you a drink

He can certainly do a job in the absence of Inu.

Anderson might have an interesting choice to make if Wright keeps improving - because Inu's form has been far from good.

I think there are quite a few interesting choices that may well be made over the next month or so - with Smith and Inu at the centre of them.

he looks more suited to the back row to me, however I would persevere with Inu in our backline

I think Ben Smith's days as a NRL centre are gone.

Perhaps he can make a fist on the backrow, I'd actually like to see him play for Wenty there for an extended run and see how he goes.

If Jono Wright keeps improving, there's always the option to shift Inu to the wing (after all, he has been poor in the centres), however both Grothe and Burt had very good games on the weekend.

Of course, these things often have ways of working themselves out with injuries/suspensions etc

Inu, given Wright's chances on the weekend, would have had a field day.
Inu hasn't been given opportunities like Wright had all season.

Inu MUST come back in this weekend. I hope he gets the same opportunities.
Wrights time will come, but he didn't overly excite me on Sunday. He made 3 very poor choices when given the opportunites - 2 in attack and one defensively.
I'm happy to put those down to first game nerves at this stage, but without doubt, at this point in time, Inu is by far and away the better footballer, and should be the starting centre.

I thought Inu was suspended for another week?

There goes my theory then - I thought Wright still had a week ot 2 before Inu was back.

Inu was out for two weeks..... and missed the Sharks and Knights.

It will be interesting to see who lines up where this afternoon and particularly Monday night.

well INU is a specialist left side centre and considering Reddy had such a big game there would you move him back to the right to cater for INU?

I probably would.
