Josh Dugan could start NRL season in reserves after rejecting Super League move

The dr's for the clubs are about how to get players back on the field, for the benefit of the club. If they don't provide the right result, new doctors are found.
Dugans Doctor said his knee is bad & needs rest & he will be right. For the benefit of the patient.

Duges, i think.

So what has caused him to start acting like this? Is it all over playing centre?

Most likely dummy spit for being shopped around. Vibes between the Club and himself seem pretty strained.

Trying to get himself medically retired shows he’s lost the love for the game. I can’t imagine you’d want to put your body through the torture of pre season if your mind is nowhere near focused on footy.

Problem for the Club is that he’s costing the Club a bomb and has a year to go after this year. Dugan still picks up his pay cheque no matter what. And he can’t even sign a young kids shirt. What a selfish human he is.

If you try hard enough you can find a Dr. who will tell you that any contact sport is bad and you should not play.

Playing contact sport is bad for you.

You have to want to do it more than anything.

Otherwise you should just join the rest of us at the bar.

It must be horrible knowing you only have to get through about 10 years of doing something that people do for free, in the very little spare time they have. All the while setting yourself up for life with minimum commitment so you can retire in your 30's. While the rest of us work ourselves to death or well into our 70's.

When I was a kid playing it killed me when blokes who were so physically gifted did f**k all and got a spot in the team.
I was a skinny hopeless merkin.
I trained my arse off but just couldn’t match it with them strength and size wise.
Oh to be gifted.

No amount of rest fixes his knee. The bloke has had the same issue since he was a raider.
