Dissapointed the be honest. Not sure as any of us are what happened behind the scenes though. Waiving of the cooling off period seems to be a bit of a middle finger to the club but glad it won't drag on for another 10 days.

Millward needs to prove his worth, stance etc by for starters making sure we've got a full 1st grade squad signed for next year ( still a hell of a lot of players still not signed) and secondly make sure we put any left over $ for good use.

His a good fit for the sharks, shame we lost him but thats the way it goes

He was good for us and would thank him for his time with us and wish him well.
We have good prospects for fullback and Field or Dufty can be attacking weapons which was missing with Dugan. Fullbacks these days need to be fast these days.
So it's a loss to the club but not the end of the world.

The vaughan extension was more about moving money around to try and dit dugan and packer in ( thats my taje on it anyway)

Hope this means Mann stays. I know he had a shocker at fullback but if puts it together with his passing game he will be a better fullback than Dugan. Life moves on, Dugan moves on so will the Dragons.

i will be honest I've never liked dugan as a person or a player. he does try extremely hard but he isn't a match winner. he is injury prone and doesn't produce a passing game, the attack always breaks down when he has the ball. he will be around drugs in 2018 just like he was in canberra. i don't wanna see his face this year at all, we reached out to him and he spat in our face. i wish him nothing but bad luck. scum

Good luck to him. I think the Sharks will find that 4th year was a bridge too far though.

Maybe the Sharks have access to TPAs.
Maybe the Sharks know that 750k for a quality player won't be much in 4yrs time.
I'd feel a bit better if Millward came out with plan B.

Good luck to Duges like him at the back he is safe puts in every week but for me he is not a game breaker . if anything our back line seems to flow better in attack .
