So they have Josh Hoffman, a player who is quite a handy fullback playing six as a stop gap for Kahu, a junior champion fullback, who's a stop gap for a guy who is playing round 1 for the Raiders at fullback behind international number 6 Jack Wighton. Whereas they have Ben Barba, a player who grew up playing in the halves, playing fullback.

Griffin has to be in the running for duddest coach of all time. Hurry up and bring in Kevin Walters and let him restore some pride to Brisbane please.

You raise a valid point there, if Milford is such a good 5/8, then why is Jack Wighton preferred to him? Is it a case of the Raiders not having a better option for fullback? Reece Robinson was pretty handy there when the Duges was busy drinking lolly water on his boyfriends roof. Surely theyve got a winger to take Robinsons place.

He's not a proven "Good" Five-Eighth just yet, whereas we've seen what he can do at Fullback in the 2013 season and the RLWC, Canberra isn't bothering attempting to develop his halves game for the Broncos to reap the rewards in 2015, they'll just play him where they know he's going to have an immediate impact.

Broncos on the other hand will more than likely throw him in the deep end at Five-Eighth / Halfback in 2015 and play him there until he's good at it.

stop gap for a stop gap.

If the Bulldogs lose on Friday it's going to be hilarious.

Every time there's hype about a Bulldogs 'revenge match', they lose.

2003 preliminary v Roosters.

v Dragons 2010

Both games v Roosters/SBW last season.

And the Mason and O'Meley return match. The key difference is all those teams were good teams

revenge for what? he didn't break contract and f**k off to another code

it's a formality now a days that players find other clubs, be it for money or family.. happens in every club, on a season to season basis

the ironic thing about all this is that the Bulldogs are well known for buying premierships

It's because Milford won't be with us next season. It would be far more beneficial to get Wighton in there now rather than next year and get some more experience in the position.
