Bird & Gallen weren't shit, they just had the ball too much. Mostly because Reynolds kept throwing passes to people that weren't there.

Farah's kicking game shat all over Reynolds & Hokko's, who kept kicking it down the throat of the qld back 3.

When halves are playing poor, Farah will take over. If they are playing well, he'll keep himself out of the attack.

The defensive workload of Farah, Gallen, Bird, Woods & Hokko was phenomonal.

Just runs sideways and throws the ball to no one. we need a 5/8 like sutton who can run straight,offload,pass and tackle not just a sideways running grub who runs his backs into corners and cant tackle. Theres a reason the outside backs never got any room to move and thats it.

Can't stand Reynolds. But the nature of a decision like that is that if it works out, you look like a winner and if it doesn't, you don't. According to BM, Reynolds' quick tap won them the game.

I think he's perfect for Origin, tbh. NSW have taken a long time to learn that they wouldn't win the game in the halves. Sure, Gallen etc overplayed their hands in the 20- but I can hardly see Reynolds or Hodkinson producing magic there.

They would take the tap in every club game in the same situation,so it becomes instinctive thing to do.As for Gallen,no one can doubt his courage,but gee he over plays his hand.Nsw had enough ball to blow the Reds away but the likes of Gallen and Farah just strangled the life out of the attack. This is pretty much why NSW have lost so many series on the trot. 2-0 up in your first series win in 9 years and you're already trying to change the composition of the team for game 3.

I think Maloney cops a lot of crap just by being aligned to Pearce. He's better than Reynolds and had a decent series last year. Their obsession with picking club combinations is silly as they rarely link up on the field anyway

I tend to agree, in club footy they play left and right half so they rarely link up together.

No different to having a back rower or centre outside the half back from another club, this is why they spend a week bonding before each SOO game.

They are professionals they should be able to work with any other half or 5/8 based on skill level not how good a mates they are.
