Jeremy Smith is at his fourth club.
Not as diverse a selection as some others but more contemporary.
Beau Henry is still young. Could join more clubs if Bennett keeps following him around.

You could say that about a lot of the Newcastle forwards. Nev Costigan and Willie Mason are at their fourth clubs too, Beau Scott at his third.

Darius Boyd comes to mind more than Beau Henry.

No mention of Joe G?

Warriors, Panthers, Eels, Souffs, Manly. Premierships at 2 and grand finalist at another. Quite a successful journeyman.

Yeh he was a great player. We turned his career around after being thrown on the scrap heap by rusty at souths

Shit thread.
Why not just call it "who has played for a f**k load of clubs"
Some of these guys are pathetic. Some are legends.

Line 1) -Starts off bagging the thread.
Line 2) Criticises the thread saying that it could have been titled something different, even though the different title means the exact same thing as the original title.
Line 3) Goes on a tangent that is so vague that it could have a handful of different meanings.

Did you start big school this week?

Taumata has been signed by seven clubs.

Brisbane
Sydney
Canterbury
Melbourne
Wests
North Queensland
Penrith

Yet he has played for just three of these.

Canterbury
North Queensland
Penrith

For a combined total of 14 first grade games. All this, and he is still 24. One has to wonder if he is actually trying to play for all clubs, just as a rugby league first.

I remember reading an article (think it was in the NZ Herald to celebrate Price or Wiki getting to 300 games) which described Luke Ricketson as a journeyman

That just goes to show their commanding grasp of the english language.

The correct meaning of the word "journeyman" is to do with the completion of an apprenticeship, and the right to work for wages. The "journey" part comes from the French word for day (journee).

The idea that it has something to do with, for example, the number of places that the man has worked, or the number of clubs that a player has worked for, is just plain wrong.

In defence of the English language.

Journeyman is the colloquial term used in Rugby league to refer to players that have played at a lot of different clubs.

But thanks for the advice. It''s always nice receiving advice from a self-riotous tool

Kimmorley's career was an interesting one. He was one of the highest paid players going around for a while there. I'd say his time in Melbourne and the Eagles he was pulling in 500K (from reports) per season. When he went to Cronulla and the bulldogs it was reported that he was on 300K. What he contributed to the teams fell away a lot over the last number of years.
