Re saintssarah,i too was in the jubilee avenue forum many moons ago, went overseas for eight months and tried to rejoin but was advised that you must have a minimum of 20 posts.i have been a fanatical saints fan now for near on 56 years now,i actually lived in jubilee ave across from the oval for my first 14 years of my life,i now live in Brisbane but still get down to Oki Jubilee once a year, its called the Taj Mahal/Mecca day, just a bunch of 50 somethings getting together at the Taj for lunch then over to Mecca, the spiritial home of the dragons for an enjoyable afternoon on the hill with many a cleansing ale.i am one who enjoys the forums,i too do not comment much at all but really enjoy reading the different and varied comments about our great club, perhaps the moderators could consider the fan who doesn't comment but still enjoys the day to day articles that a many keen fan posts, quietly confident for the anzac game tomorrow

Lol, it's not about exclusivity, it's to protect you from those that we don't allow out.

In all seriousness, as Saints fans, we all want the best for our club and for different people that means different things and this causes plenty of debate amongst people following the same team. If we want to debate with opposition supporters, the best bet is to start a thread out here or head to the mental ward that is the NRL forum. No one want's or needs that in every sub forum on this board.

So in summary, the minimum post count is to actually demonstrate that you're not just trying to get in to be a troublemaker, but reality shows anyone can rack up 20 posts of crap (see Muzby  ) and go on in hahaha.

The other thing is Jubilee Ave used to be a unique forum on a different host and LU was kind enough to provide the servie here once that host removed the forums so in essence, there is members of Jub Ave that have never posted outside (ever) lol.

Welcome back

I use to have another login back in the days of the yellow smiley face with the black sun glasses. Forgot the login and got a new one. Not too hard at all if you don't want everything all at once

I recently attempted to join the Jubilee Ave forum, as i had previously been a member many moons ago, but have since changed email addresses and hadn't accessed it for ages, and was disheartened to find that you have to make a minimum of 20 posts to join!..sorry but as Saints supporters aren't we meant to stick together not be segregated. I didn't have to do this before to join. It all feels kind of exclusive. I agree with having a proper email address so as not to attract spammers, but i for one enjoy reading everyone's thread's rather than contributing, as most of the time someone else has already made commented on the thoughts i may have had. I think these forums are important to keep us in the look as supporter's and to have a laugh at times!...but not everyone feels the need to say something!

just saying, and sorry for whinging but it's how it is :(

SaintsarahLeysin, the criteria is pretty simple. Tell us what name you posted under 'many moons ago' and let's take it from there.

Not a trick question.

I too like to read & keep upto date with what's going on with the Dragons, I have a snoop several times a day to see what you lot are up to... At work on many occasions i am caught having a chuckle (looking like an idiot:sarcasm:)
I have to agree though you guys are pretty quick & are onto anything that may be going on. I guess I get my daily fix... Thank you all for that
