Sam Burgess good chance to get the downgrade imo. Not that bad a hit.

Given the way he plays it won’t be long untill his carry over points add up to enough to get him suspended though

So interestingly Evans who was sin binned yesterday wasn't even charged by the MRC (and rightly so). Co-incidently it's the 3rd time this year Ashley Klein has sin binned a player for an offence which the MRC hasn't even deemed worthy of a charge yet we have Mr Burgess escape the sin bin for a grade 2. First of all if that doesn't indicate that Klein is out of control and operating differently than other refs then not sure what does, secondly does anyone actually know what foul play incidents constitute a sin bin?

Meh. 2 Souffs players got charged by the MRC a few weeks ago despite the on field refs not deeming neither incident worthy of a penalty. Who the f**k knows what infringements are worth what? Clearly the officials have no clue.

As much as it grates me to have to stick up for Klein, I’m 99% sure that call came from the bunker.

Whatever the case there seems to be a massive discrepancy between the views of the refs and the MRC, they're so far apart in their views they might as well be looking after different sports

You are right. Klein is a card-carrying muppet.
