In less than a week we see Asofa Solomona not even get charged for deliberate crusher tackle and TPJ get sin binned & a grade 2. Work that out?

No charge for this though:

I’m probably biased, but every time I watch this I genuinely cringe, but I don’t have the same reaction to TPJ on Maloney. One looks coached, the other looks accidental from a player looking to complete a tackle he fell off of and gets the timing wrong. Don’t get me wrong, he should have been charged, but how is Solomona not?

Is intent necessary for a charge to be sustained?
Would have thought if it was intentional, the charge would be reckless? It would be almost be impossible to accidentally perform a crusher tackle. These tackles are so f**king dangerous, i cannot believe they dont attract the same penalties as a deliberate spear tackle. Isnt 1 broken neck enough for the nrl?

Yes you are biased, TPJ’s was deliberate and Siebold coaches these, see last years preliminary final if you want evidence. He coaches his forwards to take opposition playmakers out of the game with dog shots.

Is this the worst the judiciary has ever been?

We've always had inconsistencies but this year has been notably shithouse.

Match Review Committee or Judiciary - they are separate groups.

According to media - yes.

In reality - no it isn't.

Of all the instances, you chose to screen cap the one where it's his ball carrying arm?
I get you're trying to make a point, but come on.

Bad picture. But Solomona needs 10 weeks if he raises his forearm again. Injury to the defender or not. It's a stupid act and he will break someone's jaw.

Right, I guess I understand now. We have a siloed process. Probably with 'interpretations' from different people on both panels.

You can just see it all break down. Does Toby on the front desk send out the infringement letters? Or is Carol still doing that?

I know how to fix it, get more rugby league players in there! That'll sort it out.

If it happens, Todd will send the Storm a gift, probably diamond earrings to match a certain ring

Don't be absurd. It needs to be addressed, but the 10 weeks is excessive, and he is simply not the only player in the league that is doing it.

The Match Review Committee and the Judiciary Panel are separate, because that the most objective way. In the 'real world' the MRC is like the Police Prosecutor, whilst the Judiciary is the court. It's purposely designed to maintain objectivity and fairness.

As for the 'more rugby league players in there', I'm not sure whether that is tongue in cheek as both the MRC and Judiciary have former players. In fact, I believe the MRC is all former players.
