Judiciary Charges 2019

They dont have the stones to do it and it wouldnt fit in with others charged this year, but im perfectly fine if the NRL wants to set a new precident here with Young and suspend him for a full 24 weeks... eye gouging should be a season minimum.

Just an appalling action from Young.

That's not my point. My point is, why was Sam's innocuous incident charged, yet Tetevano's and Cordner not? Because he's Sam, that's why.

If Sam had put the bumper bar up to Cronk, who went off for a HIA, and Cordner had pulled hair, do you think the result would have been the same? Of course not.

Remember when Sammy only got 2 weeks for trying to rip a blokes balls off?

Remember when Sammy got no charge for trying to kill Robbie Farah last year?

Remember when Poor Sammy got let off without a suspension for taking Moylan's head off earlier this year?

Oh yes, poor little sammy is certainly treated unfairly at the judiciary

He’s just got to realise you have to play for your state and/or your tier 1 country before you can start pulling that kind of shit.

In all seriousness though, the NRL have backed themselves into corner with their dealings of the McGuire charges.

They have a chance for a line in the sand moment, I doubt it will happen but.

George Burgess' repeated effort basically meant he blacklisted himself from any NRL club wanting him. Young's should be the same.

Yeah, Young's an idiot.

Not exactly sure how they work it all out, but would be happy with 10-12 weeks seeing as he was stupid enough to have 2 goes at it. Seems fair.

I also love Stuart insisting that Young didn't 'gouge the kid'. Sure thing mate. We all saw it and you did too.

5 weeks wasn't enough, I'd give him 12 weeks this time, and a stern warning that this better be the last time.

For an eye gouge to have taken place you think that Adam Pompey would have reacted to it, or at least even felt it...

Whilst Young has come under mass criticism for his actions, Pompey took to Instagram to defend the back-rower, suggesting that he didn't feel anything.

"Nah your sweet brah," Pompey said in response to Young.

"I honestly don’t think anything is wrong with that bala,

"I didn’t feel anything and I didn’t know you even poked me in the eye."

Seriously, Pompey's defense of Young means nothing. We all know that. Young had a dig. Two of them. He's gone for the season at the very least.

There's clear footage of him raking the guys face. Open, shut, should not play until at least late March

We know that Young raked his fingers across Pompey's face, twice.

As for an eye gouge, the complete lack of reaction from Pompey says there wasn't one. That Pompey's defense of Young means nothing to you means nothing.

Players defend other players all the time. It’s rare for a player to call for another player to be suspended

Oh, so there wasn't an eye gouge then.

So Ricky was right.

This feels like arguing with a couch.

If you’re cool with what he did, you can have him.

Regardless, he’s gone for the season and rightfully so.

Cheers

He needs a very severe fine just like Josh McGuire got for not eye gouging Cameron Munster.
