Judiciary charges from semis

Guerra was charged with a grade 2 and got 1 week only due to the early plea and 0 carry over points. Anyone who thinks Jackson's wasn't worthy of a grade 1 is kidding themself.

Public outrage over this will need to be quelled with a penalty count favouring the Panthers.

50/50 calls will be going Penriths way, you heard it here first.

I like revving up Doggie supporters , i treat it as a hobby but seriously Josh Jackson having no case to answer is an utter disgrace.

I'll ignore the blatant shoulder charges by T Rex and Ennis as they caused no harm and it's a stupid rule.

However with so many players suspened this season there is precedent, something to compare the Jackson tackle with.

The Josh Morris tackle wasn't a chicken wing but Jackson's was there is no doubt abut that.

Haslers confidence that Jackson would get off is a concern.......

i've never really believed all the conspiracy theories etc but geez the dogs have escaped from a lot of shit this year. there was the dodgy fifita contract, i dont think they got into any trouble for continually leaving graham on the field after he was in disneyland several tiems, reynolds kicks barba and gets a week in the worst "trip" i can recall, williams almosts decapitates sezer and isnt charged, jackson does a classic chicken wing (he's so geniused he cant even rip it as far as guerra), and ennis contacts cherry evans with a shoulder and nothing's said...

You forgot the Reynolds Origin spear not getting a suspension, Klemmer avoiding suspension for the raised knees when he ran at JWH, and the attacking of the legs of DCE after he kicked a ball the resulting injury forcing him from the field (can't remember the bulldogs player involved).

Dollar Des has someone on speed dial.

He knew before fulltime Jackson would be OK ;-)

Spot on. Jackson not copping a charge at all has just made a mockery of the Match Review committee in the finals.

Paul Green's fine should be revoked on the back of this news.

I must admit, I am surprised he wasn't charged, but I also don't believe that Greenburg had anything to do with it

It is just like Paul Green said. They are inconsistent and you can't trust their judgement

Spot on.

It's ridiculous to suggest Greenburg played a role in this.

It's purely down to the fact that the judiciary are beyond incompetent. There should be a vote of "No Confidence" in the entire review system.

Thats my take on it.

The MRC came down hard chicken wings for a few weeks, declared the issue resolved, and walked away dusting their hands.

Pretty much standard NRL fare when they decide to crack down on anything. Only ever last a month till the papers get bored.

But conspiracy theories are fun man.

Jackson getting off is f**king outrageous.

Especially on the back of the Te'o and Guerra incidents.

Some backroom dealings going on there.

The chicken wing is officially removed from the rule book. What could be deemed a chicken wing if that wasnt ... f**king joke .. seems every merkin escapes suspension in this finals series as long as u dont play for the Cowboys !

Don't know if those screenshots are completely accurate regarding the worst positioning of each tackle, but Jackson in that image is applying no pressure against the elbows natural motion. I can see the shoulder being worked over in all three, but hyper extending the elbow is much worse, and clearly visible in the other two.

I don’t think anyone actually believes Greenburg had anything to do with it, it is just another example of the complete lack of consistency the MRP has.
