Guys with intent always apologize immediately and show remorse.

He knew immediately he f**ked up and that it was bad. He knew he was going to be sent off and miss a month or so of footy.

It's ridiculous to suggest he would do that intentionally when he clearly knew how bad the repercussions were for it instantly. Though I know there's no way you believe he was trying to break his opponents neck. He'll get 4/5 weeks.

Precedent was set with Lawton and Naden. He'll get the same charge they did. Really easy to predict his punishment unlike it was before Lawton was charged.

Big suspensions are nearly non existent now. Even intentional acts don't get very big suspensions.
