Poor old Nelsy, he's the victim here.
Suspensions should always only be for actions on a field that are aimed at illegally injuring someone. Grubby acts should be a fine only with increasing amounts only. A lot of what we’re seeing in regards to suspensions and fines should not even be charged at the judiciary.Isn't it? Is that applied to every case (genuine question)? Because the original decision didn't have it applied, only the judicial hearing
Absolutely agree with this. Suspensions should be for deliberate or serious acts of foul play and as such, should also be sent from the field. I can’t get my head around how an incident can be deemed worthy of a multiple week suspension, but not a send off at the time.Suspensions should always only be for actions on a field that are aimed at illegally injuring someone. 95% of the thuggery disappeared 20 years ago or more. Why do some fans want players rubbed out of the game for incidental or accidental clashes?
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
What the actual f**k.... poor Mat Croker
What even is Rugby League any more

LOL please he fell off a tackle, absolute nothing wrong with it and happens 100 times a matchit’s unlucky but boy I’m glad they are trying to stamp this rubbish tackling technique out of the game it’s causing major injuries
He did not "fall off the tackle". He literally turns his hips and loses his feet before he lost his grip on Talakai. It was a matter of "oh no, I'm not going to stop him, this is the only way". Just like a forward sticking an arm out when he is stepped.LOL please he fell off a tackle, absolute nothing wrong with it and happens 100 times a match
If he can’t do it legally, are you suggesting he should be allowed to by any means necessary?Garbage suspension that. How does Croker bring him down in that position?
Lol meanwhile Zane Musgrove hit with a wet lettuce leaf for a deliberate forearm to the back of the head that he had to dive back over the tackle to do.
Not to mention that he had hold of Horsburgh’s leg at the time so could have caused some serious damage

Good news cover defenders, if a winger is diving to score in a corner - feel free to shoulder charge or give a swinging arm to his head. “How else is he meant to stop the try?”.
It is the tackler’s responsibility to make a legal tackle. Croker didn’t.

It has NEVER been a requirement for a tackle to be more than one on one to be a hip drop. There were a number of one on one tackles suspended earlier in the season (and at least on in preseason) that were one on one.Where does it say what is specified as a hip drop?
A few weeks ago, You guys played Souths and there was a tackle by Kennedy I think on Tatola. Very similar to the tackle above.
No suspension and was the correct call. As it is one on one and until they specify a hip drop you can't expect much more.
So now to the question from above. What does the defender do differently to not get suspended
