Good. Eels website just said Dunsters got a ruptured MCL, and PCL, and ACL. Fuimaono should sit out longer than 5

Yeah. Should be way more than 5. It’s not as dangerous as a spear. But the ability for the hip drop to do major damage is proven. It should be ungraded. Straight to the tribunal. Also should be insta off.

I originally thought the tackle was an accident, but after review the other incidents it definitely looks like something he has practiced

Looks like he has developed a technique where he latches to the hips and then leverages himself fully off of the ground so the player with the ball is essentially taking his full weight. As the bunker likes to say 'there is clear separation'.

For a guy over 100kg it's insane it wasn't detected and stamped out earlier by the NRL.

Wow I originally went with careless accident but after those videos this looks like a technique designed to inflict. With the added suspension of knocking pap the f out, it sure his next contract is gonna look thin or non existent.
he’s a pretty average player at best anyway no real talent apart from being able to injure blokes

The game literally happened last night. Expecting a charge sheet at 9am is a bit soon.

He has now been charged ^

Yeah they really threw the book at him with a grade 1 charge and a little tickle of the wallet....you know, coz the NRL is serious about the hip drop creeping into the game so they are sending serious message to stamp it out.

I understand loading and Tyrells form adding to the weeks of his charge, but if Saifiti gets hurt does that Grade 1 become a Grade 3? The act itself needs to be stamped out and if players get caught doing it, they need to miss weeks of footy, not get fined.
