The Game Judiciary & Match Review charges - 2022 season

Will I sound like a conspiracy theorist again If I think it is ridiculous that a strong cannonball tackle by Lindsay Collins that had the risk of ending Hastings season was only met with a Grade 1 Charge and a fine?
That’s a bit of an overstretch as Collins practically walked to the tackle and judging by the soft reaction of the Tigers players, they didn’t think there was much in it either. I agree however that he should’ve been suspended just for doing it and the NRL are already sending out a poor message but we’ve been here before.

You’ll all just have to be a bit patient with Dragons fans and the judiciary for a bit longer.

We’re still a bit sensitive after Ravalawa was repeatedly suspended last year for tackling too hard with textbook technique.

only had himself to blame he didn’t learn after the first suspension. Then he did it again.

I didn’t argue that he should get off, just it was softer than has been made out. Being a Rooster didn’t help Radley at the judiciary, did it.

Either his clean record or they took pity on him for being a dumb merkin? I was expecting he’d get a week.

So Hamlin-Uele was charged with a Grade 1 Dangerous Contact for his not-late late hard tackle on Averillo.
Same charge as Collins diving in at Hastings knees.

According to the tweet above your post there were no charges from the Sharks v Dogs game. TPJ should be feeling pretty lucky.

Off a raging start in 2022.

Very surprised TPJ didn't get charged. Elbowed Hunt in the face, elbowed Katoa in the back of the head while prone on the ground. I thought the Katoa one was particularly bad.

This is because the bunker is not accountable for poor decisions and the players are penalised in the pocket for their broken, staggered, reactionary, unrealistic, stupid fking rules. In all honesty, do you think the players are going to put up with these fines into the future?

Looking into the crystal ball, I see a revolt, I see a player strike pending.

Well then, turns out that slap on the wrist fine given to Luke Thompson for his hip drop on Saifiti in the trials was more of a joke than first thought - Saifiti set to miss the first 3 weeks of the season because of it...
